  1. Cant promise it won't get turbo'd! Thanks pal, yea the amber lenses are staying, looks loads better.
  2. Is that exhaust putty on the head > manifold? If so be very careful, as when that heats up it starts to flake off bit by bit, and if you've got any of that seeping through internally and it goes through the turbo..wave goodbye to it. Just a headsup is I've seen it happen a fair few times. Bay is looking mega tidy atm
  3. Hahah good work. Just so you are aware..it appears you've fitted your rear springs upside down, the tighter coils go at the bottom not the top..
  4. Haha bellend. Cheers Amjad!
  5. JM-Imports are the best imo. Give Jurgen there a call.
  6. Cheers boys, its not a beauty just yet...give it another month and it should be there
  7. On the head cover? I've only ever used just normal halfords rattle can and primer. Never had a problem with it coming off.
  8. It does sound a lot. But when you think an n/a-t is going to need a Ecu and map. Your nearly at 1k there even for a new emu, I'm guessing they'd use one of their turbo kits, that's going to be 1.5k, Intercooler, injectors, clutch then labour. I can see how it'll add up to that price quickly. It isn't expensive to do yourself, but if you have brand new stuff from a tuner. It is going to be.
  9. Used to be loads of Glanza's round this way a few years ago. Saw this one parked up when i nipped into sainsburys yesterday afternoon, maybe someone on here?
  10. Just put an fte lump in it. You can do it in half a day lol. Especially if you are a mechanic lol. The only thing ill pay for someone to do on my car is map it, and maybe build an engine, only because you don't really save any money doing it yourself.
  11. Oh it did indeed lol. It'll be clean example again soon enough Ha you should, i have missed working on them.
  12. Managed to get a few more hours in on the car this morning. Made some reasonable progress. The car finally has matching suspension, and all the arches are stone-chipped/undersealed. I got some Glanza skirts the other week for her so i set about bonding those on, aswell as a TTE lip from idress, so got that fitted aswell. Car is still covered in desert dust, so excuse the state of it! Bonnet and bumpers can now be painted this week. Was meant to be happening last, but i miss judged how long the lip would take to turn up! A couple of pics.. Next on the agenda is tidying up the engine ba
  13. You'll make more power running a decent filter setup then running the turbo open. Most people who run open/meshed turbos on ep's don't add in any kind of ducting, so the turbo is just sucking up warm air from the bay. Decent filter relocated to the front, with decent airflow will give much better results.
  14. LOL. i don't get people who do this. You might get offers if you answered peoples questions as above.
  15. I also cannot see how a PCV valve is going to make the engine last longer..
  16. Yup it flexes but its tie'ing two sides of the car together..Its not about flex, its about stretch and they aint gonna stretch all that far. Each to their own, but i know ill be keeping mine in.
  17. Burwash ran a td06-20g. A td05-20g wouldn't be tooooo bad imo. 1.6bar by around 5k id imagine.
  18. I think it is if you look where it all attaches upto and wouldn't remove it, there will be more flex without it. Atleast you've added that other bit back in
  19. ^ what's the tread like? Could do with a couple myself actually lol!
  20. Cruise are just re grinds. Go for some proper billets
  21. Someones gonna get mugged off big time if they are bidding on that thinking its a Glanza lol. Who the feck in their right mind would bid on that anyways!
  22. Im currently going through the same thought processes. Each have pro's and cons. Probably end up trying all of them and see what suits the car best.
