1. Motor Trend Road Test: Clicky We'll eventually add in articles reviewing the vehicle in this topic

Umm, what? That is a bit overkill... I know about the crankshaft, I was in discussions with him but failed to get any information from the company that did it for him. His was certainly the most overkill setup I'd ever seen! I guess bagged out is the equivalent of "ripped it out of"...which AUSC did when I showed pictures of my garden hose in the engine bay...they all unanimously called me a bush/Bangla mechanic :harhar: Also, fixed

The issue with seam-welding though is that at you gain structural rigidity at the expense of crash performance. It's all fair and well chasing ultimate specifications, but you should weigh the benefits first - in a crash, the spot welds are meant to split along the panel seams, thus disspating crash energy, seam weld these and a lot less impact energy is going to be absorbed by the chassis and be a lot more damaging in the end. And to what benefit? Granted, seam welding yields a very approximate figure of 10-15% extra body shell rigidity, but you'd be hard pushed to notice a difference if you're not an experienced driver on track with many hours of chassis development; people can shout the praises of strut braces all they want, but fact of the matter is that chassis development is far more indepth. I reckon a welded in roll-cage, if this is solely a track-driven car, will be ideal - you strengthen the main passenger sell, whilst maintaining the energy dissipating channels on the vehicle seams. There's more ways to improve track performance, or rather, better value ways! Such as track tuition - I don't want to sound like a broken record, but you have to be realistic if you're serious about improving the track performance of a vehicle; the only way to understand how a modification achieves what its designed to achieve, is to know what you are looking for. If you blindly prepare the vehicle, you have no baseline to start from and understand your vehicle from. So yeah, from that, seam-welding certainly is beneficial for the structural rigidity of the vehicle, but it does come at the expense of crash performance; I'd start off with the roll-cage, get to acclimitise and familiarise yourself with your vehicle and take it from there

Ariel obviously got over that factor with their V8 Atom..

Yup, as well as a vagina steering wheel - airbag looks like a newborn when it sets off Hmm, that's a bit graphic, even for me!

Can't beat peniswheels ;]

What I meant is I couldn't tell if the symbol said Alpha or Beta, I'm pretty blind Not much - it's only a 5E-FE, albeit a 100bhp as opposed to the 89bhp UK ones. I'd try for £1000

That was in Italy, saw it on the Italian news when it happened, pretty extreme and everything happened within the space of seconds. I can't remember if that was actually the result of mechanical failure or not, but a LOT of truck driver accidents, in Italy at least are caused by DUI (foreign driver's, not Italian!), a sickeningly large proportion... And also, what realistically could passers' by do? It's a raging inferno, I very much doubt any of them would have the experience/skill to intervene, and they're not going to risk themselves in such a high risk scenrario - the best thing to do is call the forces, and as evident, that crash happened right by a traffic camera, the emergency services would've been signalled immediately. It's even stipulated in the Highway Code that if you come across the scene of an accident that you don't ever touch the occupants as you may risk further injury to them.

Lul, Nanjewbadger Why'd I call you that again??
-
Wouldn't mind one, but not for that money - I can't see if its an Alpha or Beta though

Yup, I've included all the links and a key for the abbreviated links, and if there were multiple links I selected the cheapest (I think that link would've been in bold) - but yeah, feel free to go through it, add to it, then I can add as well. I MAY revamp the full catalogue, or not, need ideas
-
Go ahead - but double check the prices, they're doubtless FAR out of date now

GT-Art's in Brighton, Skyline specialist but should be alright with the Glanza
-
You'd have to ask Geo on the forum screen size, but I have plenty of space with my 17" laptop
-
Get them from the catalogue file - it is the slowest loading p.o.s, but most of it is there, I'll add any missing; infact you could group the "Factfiles" relating to parts as a Catalogue even, a much quicker loading version of mine

As far as I know, the Austrian ones were a dealer option, or came on a "Special Edition" Paseo - the one I pictured also has a cardomain page
-
.....Holy shart

Updated with more pictures

- Onderground Design Aggressor 2 kit - - TTE Front Lip - - Austrian Special Edition Lip kit - - Astina Invader kit ("Murcielago" look-a-like) - - Astina Japan kit - There's a few more on the catalogue, including a strange Yellow one from Poland or something (The kit was called "X-Tro" but it seems like the website is gone...shame, the rear spoiler was nice) and a couple from Australia, and I think its Nippon that has the "Lamborghini Murcielago" look-a-like kit too. Also, don't forget that weird kit to make the Paseo look like an MR2 that removes the rear windscreen
-
Missed out a few like Onderground design (Ollie's), the MS Designs is actually a "Fun Company" one, and there's a couple more I think you missed from the catalogue, I can send you pictures; and the company is "Regulus Pro" - I'll delete the post when they've been added x

Babe, you have no idea how much I'm like, itching like a crack addict - after Lydden Hill, I was supposed to do Bruntingthorpe by the end of the same month, and then in the summer, the Nurburgring, but that's when a piston oil control ring died and halted plans. I was also supposed to epin road trips, but again, to no avail. Once this thing is in good health, I will gladly come to Ireland, pies you and Jay as I've intimated so many times, and yeah, give a go at Kirky . I so cannot wait, like, my bank will hate me as I won't care, we ams de tracks. Also, need to practice my newly garnered heel 'n' toe-ability on the track too, as, all the above times, I was a nub
