Ugh, you prick, that image is going to haunt me. Forevrar. I despise spiders - likewise Phillybabe, I used to get my sister to come and kill them (and get my cat to eat any vagrant moths ), doesn't help when you're brought up in Saudi, with all those desert critters abound. The worst are Camel Spiders - pretty huge, pretty ugly, not poisonous, but their name tells you all you need to know about their voracity. *Shivvers* Lul at us mothphobes - I actually refused to watch "The Mothman", until I realised, there's no actual moths in it!
-
I'll ask for you babe - how soon you need them, as I could sneak them into my current order that's coming in by sea mail and thus essentially negate shipping, but it takes 6.5 weeks!
-
I've had that as well - sold some MA70 Mirrors, with plenty of pictures to show the marks on them, I receive negative feedback saying "Colour not as described"...didn't think he was colourblind, but, it happens. People like that just like to aggravate for no apparent reason it would seem

I don't think the economy figures are that out of the ordinary - when I first got my 4E-FTE the car was FAR more economical than with the FHE; I'd get easily 400-425mi to a tank (45l, slightly larger than Starlet), and that was with a heavier (but more aerodynamic) car, 1bar standard 4E-FTE with no bonnet scoop etc. So, yeah, perhaps running a bit lean For comparison, I struggled to get more than 250mi to a tank in my old 5E-FE Paseo, and was literally running on fumes at 300-330mi to a tank with the FHE

Yeah but as you see, they extend the plenum by about 10"-12" in order to obtain better flow, but the runners are still a bit too narrow and convoluted for optimal top-end flow; and that's a "600bhp" Starlet you've posted up too!
-
You'd do good to find the ACIS manifold from the Cynos 5E-FHE's in that case then - dual runner manifold, uses long & narrow runners until around 3400rpm when the shorter wider narrows also activate, really assists low-end torque and the effect would be exarcebated on a turbocharged engine. They're hard to find, but relatively easy to setup. You could even try using the Glanza-S/4E-FE Tubular manifold, which with its long and narrow runners will greatly aid lower down torque, but at the expense of top-end with the marginal plenum volume and the narrow runners

Nah, the Starlet uses high impedance injectors - I recently brought in a set of 380cc/min injectors via my contact, and he has one set remaining; comes with specifications too for lag time etc to help with mapping
-
A Starlet rollcage would double up as a garage for Brum Sparkypoos, I may be able to source some 380's if you're interested
-
Not a Starlet, but close enough

Pay up

Glad the thermostat housing fixed it chap

Indeed, I'm PRETTY sure a guy in New Zealand was doing just that a couple of years ago in a GT.. I've seen a longitudunally mounted 4E-FTE before anyway, once in an Offroader (guy on AUSC), and in a KP
-
Geo is in the midst of doing just that too - I would prefer a longtiudinal engine/gearbox setup for RWD rather than having to go through a transfer case and its resultant losses
-
No, don't be a poof and get them on Though, the pot holes have decimated my Longchampionz

I think in 8 years, correct me if I'm wrong?

1996 Toyota Cynos Convertible 1.3 Auto 34,000 Miles

Yeah, but, £2500...for a 4E-FE Cynos? £1500 tops I'd spend -
For what benefit? A good idea is to weigh the rods, pistons and pins, and match them so that you get the least diversion from the average between them, but its not necessary
-
The Blitz K24 is a very linear sort of turbo, a bit like a big Hybrid CT9, the torque build up is gradual and linear up till the redline, whereas the TD04L is laggier and has a much bigger surge of torque
-
According to TGTT they're not OEM, so I'd be wary
-
I believe that's China, I see them on my travels there when I molest young boys.

I was very close to buying a Gen1 last summer, but the guy wanted £1000 for a non-runner, so, yeah, no.

Hey sexy Edam Spider Monkey, have you gotten your Pulley yet? Everyone else and their Cousin's sister's boyfriends have gotten them
