  1. .....LUL. Spell checker >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> him
  2. Well, Porsche and BMW amongst others offer LED illuminated sill plate covers these days, maybe Toyota was well before its time, both in taste and prestige
  3. Not sure if he did it but try fishing out dub_se7ens' car maybe?
  4. thought it'd be "bum_banditc90" at the last Anyone thought of reporting him via eBay?
  5. Always my aim Chris (my) Love I've grabbed my coat, lets go
  6. I don't know if its mass-hysteria that condemns running 1bar without supporting modifications to cataclysmic failure of the turbo/engine or actual occurences, but I ran my car: - at 1Bar - with a JAM FCC - with a TMIC - without a bonnet scoop - without any other supporting modifications - on a stock manifold For more than a year without any issues (and considering this was when I first got the 4E-FTE, I wasn't particularly docile with the car...and all this in the midst of a particularly warm summer in 2007), only upgrading more via desire than necessity. That being said, it's obvious not to
  7. I like willy What is this voting thing?
  8. I guess those are the ones then, the D1280 part number rings a bell - you have to check what the Peugeot calipers used too in terms of disc thickness, if they worked with a thicker disc they won't fit, if they worked with a thinner you may risk having the pads fall out.
  9. Standard - KYB, along with Tokico are two of the major OEM Shock suppliers, infact you had the use of both on the Starlet depending on year I believe. If you check TRD coilovers/shocks as well you'll have KYB stamped on them
  10. You can always have the grooves machined in separately (Hi-Spec charged me £50 I believe?) - as for the discs, I cannot remember which, but you can check the specifications, and it will be 280mm x 21mm with a 4x100 PCD
  11. Head over to here: Clicky, and get the discs for a 2002- Corolla Diesel - these are the discs that are being sold with Sanchez's Levin Caliper conversion I sold him, and the discs were about £85 delivered, new! 280mm discs will fit without issue, and so will the calipers if they're not too high in profile
  12. Take that back NAO! Or I won't do that thing with the chilli pepper, feather and latex gloves anymore Have you tried a functional stock Actuator to see if the problem is not with the actuator itself and rather somewhere in the vacuum plumbing, intercooler piping etc?
  13. As above - mind you, those high power ASI (All-Stock Internal) engines from Jamaica and America are all 5E's though..
  14. There's a few cars being broken chap, have a search and you might find a sump - I sold one not long ago. A bit strange to have the sump corrode ALL the way through though! That's a lot of steel to eat through, and considering its a hydraulic containment reservoir, its very purpose is to hold fluids...a bit strange that yours has corroded in such a way! Do they salt your streets with sulphuric acid crystals?
  15. Yeah, AFR charged me £280..mind you, they also cleaned the head and replaced the valve stem seals, but it was a preposterous price. Then I had my block done for just £50 by someone literally down the road from me Buying parts yourself and outsourcing machining will always be cheaper (as long as unlike me, you don't get taken advantage of) if you do it yourself, if you want none of the hassle of sourcing out your own parts/machinery, then get the trader engines
  16. Head skim for £23?!! I got fleeced - I paid more than 10x that!
  17. damn it, you beat me to the statement of Sicily - it's not too far from my city of Origin
  18. Your car is hideously dirty, it makes mine look in Concours condition, and ask Bill, that's reheheheeeeally saying something! Also, looove the "industrial" installation, you're getting in dangerous territory though, almost looks like my installation! Though I used a soldering iron to burn the holes in the dash for the hoses/wires . What did you end up wiring the light into?
  19. ghey - I had an issue recently, had a bleed valve connected to the turbo, and about a year ago I'd see no boost - like, 2psi, 3psi tops; Rick then removed the screw from the bleed valve and, ouila, boost!
  20. I bought it with Dave's original batch - I believe it can get part numbers for every Toyota upto 2003 I think? And yeah, as soon as I got Vista I completely forgot how to install it!
  21. I have one somewhere babe if you want to borrow it? I have forgotten how to install it so its not doing anything currently
  22. What boost problems babe? If that doesn't work, try search for JAM Actuators - a few guys had them for sale on TGTT; they seem to be the most stable of actuators as some people still experienced Boost creep with the HKS actuators, whereas the JAM (in my case at least) was perfect. Running seemingly the recipe of disaster for boost creep (no air filter, front mount, Blitz downpipe), I had no creep whatsoever, and the JAM actuator would hold boost awesomely - even nearing the redline it would only drop a PSI maximum
  23. Just as long as you don't use the Starlet to hunt children! You can hunt me anytime you like though
