  1. Beyond Layman's A lot is different - however, if you swap the sensors from your block onto the Sera block (so, knock, oil pressure, thermostat housing, intake manifold sensors), you should be fine Or at least that's what I would figure
  2. I was in the same situation 4 years ago - didn't check the oil, oil light came on and had to drive 300mi; destroyed a couple of bearings, piston oil control rings seized and so on. Good luck finding a 5E-FHE (from a Cynos at least), and when you do, they either command a stupid premium, or are reasonable but never hang around.
  3. The under bumper deflector, and the clips for the radiator cowling panel
  4. S'aright sweetums. And so did I, but low and behold, he stuck them in one of the plethora of boxes that arrived during the summer
  5. I haven't - its part of the reason why my car's been off the road since March
  6. This could be the same issue I experienced - I had very little braking whatsoever after having removed the ABS system
  7. Fill out the correct classifieds form chap
  8. Nope They had the Lancer Evo back then in Japan (and still do), it would've clashed with sales - the Lancer Evo was only introduced in America recently, I think with the IX, and the Americans prefer large coupe's with large capacity engines. I'm being very vague here but its the general demographic of such cars, whereas in Europe obviously such cars aren't favoured
  9. It's not a JDM car - it's an American Mitsubishi, i.e. made only for the American market. They wouldn't sell them here as there is no business case for them; everyone here wants diesels and small-engined cars, and the Eclipse is a rather larger 1.6ton 3.8l V6 Coupe'
  10. z0mg Phil - the new Mudvayne album sounds SO promising! Lets hug whilst we listen to it and eargasm. It actually sounds like a return to form of DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIG I think I'm high on mango
  11. YES! As I thought; The Haunted - "Shadow World"
  12. I've seen Jim in person, beat that Damnit, I'm being pwnt by a song...but I neither remember name nor band, the song is currently in my head, but for the last couple of days it's been buzzing in the empty chasm of my cranium. I think I may have sussed the band though, hold ownsss
  13. It depends what you want out of the setup in the end - SCAT rods are very cheap, as are Wiseco pistons, however SCAT rods need the block notched for example and are rather heavy connecting rods compared to others on the market. You have to prioritise your requisites and then your expenditure
  14. It would've been my first car. Insurance said nein! (£8000 quote for an 18yr old >_<)
  15. I demand it. NAO! Also, I do heart the original Renault Twingo! Absolutely adore it
  16. Doubt it, as it was some guy in Columbia that made it. You may find these though: Group A R4
  17. Also Phil: 130mph R4, lul Dan, I would presume so, seeing as its a Wald Demo Car
  18. It's quite alright shnuggums x x Also I'd be lying if I didn't admit for a small appreciation for the 4 too
  19. Nah, its just the K11 Micra, the K10 March SuperTurbo is the one you're looking for. I do quite like the aboves too
  20. Take the Beat down Sammy, as I wubbed those when you were a toddler. Cheeky little things, I need one with the Zebra interior, NEED. A multitude of people have questioned my taste for cars, querying why I had the fascination for "shit" I have quite an unhealthy fascination for this car, amongst many, MANY other atrocities: Also Phil, I am but not characterised by one nationality, but rather I am the amalgamation of many, I prefer the reference of Racial Mutt
  21. Value on most aftermarket things is pretty arbitrary, and DON'T gauge them against American prices, they pay stupid money for wheels; Desmond Regamasters typically go for $2000 for an immaculate set and so on. To pull a figure out of my head, I would reckon £400 is a reasonable ask for them, but in the end, they will get what people are willing to pay for them - in the end they're a 4x100 PCD which limits them to little Japanese hatchbacks and the Eunos etc, and they're not an aggressive enough offset for the rwd people. As I said though, I think £400 is a very good price, ma
