We shall see about that...
-
you're the bastard that bought that one on ebay eh!? Just know that that'll cost you a bomb to rebuild... It's pretty much a Hybrid CT9 that can be run at around 1.2Bar without issues...so just any mods to support 1Bar really
-
Hmmm, call it a "maybe" for the Dyno now...unless I get my new clutch on, it'll be a waste of money considering how bad my clutch slips now (on boost, it slips in 3rd gear now)
-
C/R of 4EFE is 9.6:1, the 5EFE is 9:1 and the 5EFHE is 9.8:1...8.6:1 is almost 4EFTE low
-
with regards to the Corolla gearbox...hope you know that all you'll be getting is closer gear ratios and a lower top speed right? I wanted to get it to improve economy on the motorway...but when I found out that at 70mph in 6th gear it's at pretty much the same revs as the C52, I decided against it
-
ask Joz, as he's had it done He's used the 4EFE ECU and wiring on his, but for the best performance it'd be best to wire in the 5EFE ECU...you'll just need the 5EFE Engine, ECU, Loom, and make sure the throttlebody, coil, ignitor, starter motor, intake and exhaust manifolds and all other ancillaries are attached

Elaine, at Bluewater, I'll drive you around in my car...then you'll know whether or not you want to submit yourself to such sadomasochism...if you do, then you kinky lil girl you ;) Rowrrr But seriously, you're going to have be adamant you're doing it for the track as it really isn't practical for the road...I'm fine with it, but if you like listening to music in your car, or want to have a conversation in the car with the occasional passenger, forget it... And I haven't even started with the weight reduction, for the interior I still need to strip the wiring loom down, get rid of the doorca

Sam, shuttup, you're useless at life. Elaine, as you've said, there's no real need to strip the GT if you're going to use it as an everyday car...it's light enough as it is, and I don't think you want to drive a racketty mess that is a stripped out Starlet GT. If you do want to remove weight at a track, just get rid of the back seats, spare wheel, jack and Passenger seat, done...instant 40kg off for the track. "Stripping" the GT's & Glanza's nowadays seems to be more of a fad than anything else...people go for the "Stripped out look"...pshh

loss of interest, some "pains" that have stopped him from being able to lift heavy objects, and hence he's trying to take things easy now, to undo the damage of the "younger years of yore"...shame he's gone off the automotive passion side of things. I'm collecting his 5E-FE and whatever else I find interesting

he was a Honda person - and he talked about "a" CRX a lot, don't know if it was specifically that one
