  1. Should paint the white littering Golden Yellow, like on the OZ Racing F1 Evo wheels...I had a set which I never installed and sold them on, shame, would've looked nice (but far too heavy for me, 19.8lbs A 15" WHEEL...bah)
  2. Bicester? Why didn't you tell me, I'm just a few miles down the road...I wouldn't have come along as my car's gone for a week, but still, the thought counts ;)
  3. find a side-on shot of t3h wheels please
  4. not only that, he's was quite....wide too, biggest Moobs I'd ever seen, rivalled most of the Teen girls in my year at the time
  5. ok, it's £13,391.65 but by the time I finish paying for my new Coilovers (£250ish), Wheels (£200ish), brake caliper (£50ish), harnesses (£35), turbo (£205) & wheel (£230) rebuilds/refurbs, Labour on some things I need doing soon (£250ish), Cost of what's happening to my car tomorrow (£850ish), some other little tidbits (£50ish)...the bill will tally well over £15,000...*sigh*, I could've had a life with that money...
  6. Haha, £3315??? I'm going on for £14,000 exc. MOT's & Tax & Cost of Car...and this is Since December 2005...I need to update my excel sheet, it's currently at £12,911.87 and that's correct for about July...since then I've bought well over £1000 worth of parts...
  7. I have a friend that's around 7'1" and he fits into his Yaris...they did have to move the seat so that it's actually touching the rear bench though. If it could be done in a Yaris, I presume it can be done in the Starlet, but it'll be a bitch
  8. what's the thing you've been turning into a torture chamber then?!!? (Referring to your weight reduction efforts naturally )
  9. I've run from Dover to Caterham with the Fuel Light on Constantly (Full trip was Le Mans to Caterham on a single tank of petrol...) and then another 5mi to the petrol station the next morning - good 70mi or so. Mind you, I was driving quite slowly, most of the way my eyes were closed and my lane discipline was "lacking"...you could say I was sleepy. As for the fuel level - the fuel pump (and hence fuel level lever) is located at the front of the petrol tank (closest to you) so when going downhill you'll have a greater volume of petrol in that region of the fuel tank, hence the changing fuel levels. Your car is just weird and does it backwards
  10. exactly - I really need to get on track, it's going to be a completely different driving pattern now with Forced Induction
  11. Que?? You get axle tramp on driven wheels due to the harmonics of the suspension rates with the torque of the driven wheels...An Anti-roll bar a) won't really do anything to quell and you won't get tramp on un-driven wheels. Perhaps on a bumpy road as the Rear Beam suspension means stupid unsprung weight, but that's not what's known as "Axle Tramp"
  12. I doubt you'll find many tracks that have corners requiring 2nd, yet alone 1st gear downshifts, so you should in theory by fine...perhaps limit boost slightly in third and full bones on 4th & 5th. Or could try to find one of the devices that gradually wind the boost on as the revs rise for the first few gears to be absolutely fine. Tightest track I went to was Curborough, and yes sure, that was mostly a 2nd gear track (most others were in 3rd gear, the Paseo has quite low gearing) but that's a very one-off case. Mind you, on a wet track, with LSD & 110 rampant n/a Horsepower I was still spinning the wheels a lot on Silverstone...Yet alone with boost to worsen matters. In the end, throttle control dictates all...if not, a boost controller will help
  13. well I saw you again Today by the Headington Roundabout, near McDonald's...other day I saw you parked on the otherside of the roundabout, and another day I drove past you on Iffley Road/Rosehill by Papa Johns! ...I'm not stalking you, I swear!
  14. my old wheels look nice And I keep seeing your car around Nice car chap
  15. no nickname, I just call it "Piece of Shit"... Sometimes call it "Bucket", "Pile", "Asshat" too
  16. I know what his new updated is, ner ner ner ner ner And why do I know it? Cause I'm selling it to him...and wanna know what it is?? Ninja never tells secret
  17. ah I've seen that one, wasn't it at around 30,000yen? There was an auction I'm absolutely gutted about though - was pretty much on the way to emailing you as it sold (I was unaware it sold) - it was a K1 Turbo (my ideal setup really) with 3000km FROM NEW, Blitz Downpipe, Front Pipe Section inc. flexipipe for a Paseo (figure the chances)....for 83,000yen...you'll pay at least TWICE that for the K1 itself! And I didn't realise it was a Buy It Now auction and it went immediately... Oh well, next time
  18. Yeah I was thinking a gunmetal/satin black face, and the outer diamond cut...done a couple of photoshops and that combination looks noyce! Ugh, but it's soooo "been there, had babies with it which are now in college"
  19. Thankies Jozathan (I like that <---- ) Those aren't the rims I wanted, but I just figured, meh, they're nice, they're dirt cheap, do it! I'm still contemplating on colour, shall open a thread later...and unfortunately no, I got outbid by £10 on the brakes! Was so gutted Ah well, got my important priorities now... And as for "him", I'll give him another text this weekend, when he said he'd have the "item" sent out by, otherwise I haven't heard from him yet
  20. black again? Or keep as is...bah, dunno...all silver they look bland
  21. thankies - in the case of the coilovers, required especially with works to be carried in the coming week...
  22. forgot to mention that - oh, and ofcourse thanks to Harry for getting them for me
  23. good luck with the seam welding - I wanted to get on with that, but limited money means I can't just go out and buy a welder to practice with Plus, I'd rather get the car shell acid dipped so I know it'll be a good job done, but that's going to require a few months of work, and a few £1000...which I just don't have
  24. There have been exemptions to the rule, like Clint's car in Malta - he's in the 11.5s range now I believe, and HRF's "Pikachu" EP82 did a 10.8s 1/4mi, and that was light, though obviously the weight was concentrated at the front end as in a video you see the HRF Engineers lift the rear end of the car as if it were made of clouds & marshmallows (light in other words )
