  3. a forum where you're moderator? Haha, no Need you go off and branch your on site just cause you threw a hissy fit on the 2 main resourceful forums? Take heed from why you were being targetted, don't be a sulky little kid going off to make his own clique to "show them"
  4. inspiring stuff as always ;) Just waiting for a week off university so I can take the dash out, strip out any unnecessary rubbish then plumb it back in again, though I'll keep the dash entire for now, don't quite want the car to resemble a jungle gym quite yet

    Brakes

I'm using Glanza discs on mine so unfortunately they don't come in bigger sizes. Off the top of my head the 2 sizes on the Starlet GT's/Glanza's/Paseo's/Cynos's were 236mm and 254mm discs, both 19mm thick, the earlier cars having a 52mm Center Bore the later cars the 54mm bore. Both probably made of cast steel. A major problem is that the rear calipers like to seize, be it by corrosion of the pin, or deterioration of the seals etc...Especially if the handbrake is left up for extended periods of time
  7. Splendid, thankies They are indeed the wheels I was thinking of, I reckon they'd look nice if you lowered the car slightly and got them refurbed in a more interesting colour! Car looks nice either way...oh and with Nick, Blue surround = outie
  8. get some uprated shock absorbers - done Strut mounts are designed to work in cases of extreme cornering where the suspension mounts/chassis actually deflect slightly under high cornering loads, altering suspension geometry somewhat and taking some of the slack that the suspension would otherwise cope with. The braces stop that...but it's only under high cornering load as mentioned. Get an Adjustable Panhard rod too while you're at it as your car is lowered...and that should be it really if you're not intent on doing much
  9. you silly, you drive on the asphalty bit, not the grassy bit Nice looking MK1, and do you have any side-on pictures? If those are the wheels I think they are...I lurve them, if not, they look similar, so I still lurve them
  10. too much yellow! Looks like Big Bird threw up in your interior But if you likes, then you smells...and that's what counts
  11. try it and see - yes, it will be a damping adjuster, there's nothing else it could be...
  12. Bah...I could bore people with details like how much of a Tool the BMW Driver was, and how the guy on the bike is Yemeni (can tell by the garments), and how the song playing is by Daler Mehndi, an Indian Sikh...bah, that wasn't too funny really
  13. if you look in your glovebox, or Car Manual, it'll tell you, 36-32 front to rear if I recall correctly
  14. lol - silly question, what power will it give me? Easy - as much as the tuner extracts...don't buy ecu's for "Instant Power", the fuel maps, ignition maps etc..all have to be fine tuned...But once it is, expect a healthy increase and a more suited powerband
  15. engine from Trevor is £600 delivered I can provide you an EP82 ECU as well...just need the wiring loom, someone that knows how to butcher said wiring loom...and err...lots of cups of tea
  16. Let's Friggin' settle this once and for all!!.... His car is Blurple
  17. who is this Mark fellow? His brother sounds gay
  18. Well I finally wired up the Boost Gauge and doesn't she just look purdy? Though the style queens amongst you will cringe at the fact that I got lazy routing the wiring, so just stuck them through a hole I made with a soldering iron in the dash . Oh, and for more bodge fixes, the shoelace holding up my exhaust broke, so I decided to use 4 stainless steel ties for heat wrap...it lasted a whole...oooh, 100yards?! Anyway, here's some pics of the Sinus Further updates too, got the following fitted/done over the weekend (pictures in first post): - Fitted Oil Catch Tank - Fitted SARD RRFPR
  19. Mikey - yes indeedy...possibly worse as Sam never wrote quite as much balls
  20. not as much as a Glanza-V has as standard
  21. oh god no.... Cal, when will you realise...the only reason people are being "Cock Jockeys" is because you bring it upon yourself. Idrees is your age, no-one hurls abuse at him...why's that?
