  1. Was gonna change mine, haven't properly looked but I'm guessing from the inside, take the plastic panel off, I noticed it has the clips holding it on which are a nightmare to get off. Hopefully someone has a good description how to do it for you
  2. My brother has one slightly tuned and I have to say it scared the shit out of me the first time I drove it, they are so much fun, back end slides out nearly every corner with only slight throttle but so easy to control, the most fun I've had in a car, no wonder he got rid of his 220bhp Ibiza for it
  3. Got a 98 solida in blurple, project car, got a few bits done up to now, working on the body and interior before tackling the engine, going to do a turbo conversion as well. Up to now only really done a few minor things. Got some daylight runners but pointing up into my lights so it's only subtle, blue dial lights, blue interior light, small blue strip detailing in a couple parts, blurple stereo surround, smaller aerial (now considering smoothing it over and getting an interior one), got back seats out, got some sound proofing & heat insulation pads coming end of the week, gonna get rid of
  4. Maybe one of the cylinders has went? Or plugs not sparking? Best to get it checked.

  6. North east. The real north east. Not the midlands that people think are the north east. How about you mate?
  7. Vax works unreal. Can even get the small hand held ones, but take a lot longer

  15. Best bet is scrap yard, they tricky to take off without snapping, I used a bank card to cut through the sticky to get them off after snapping the first one. Never seen anyone getting rid of any though
  16. I run 28, also find the steering too light if higher. Used to run 32 and tried 30 but car wouldn't keep traction as well
  17. I've a n/a 98 gear knob but won't be up for sale till next month when I get a new one to swap it with
  18. Just keep looking. I managed to pick up a '98 solida for £220 in fine working order (done 2200miles upto now with no issues), barring some rusting on the drivers door where someone's been closing/opening the door with the keys left in. But for a base car at that cost I couldn't say no. Just look high and low and keep asking people
