    ive got my fingers crossed its an old pipe issue, ill put the original pipe on and hope that is the pipes fault. is there any way of testing the pressure in the cooling system ?

    hey all, so today on the shortest journey ever i got to work and noticed a trickle of water, i opened the bonnet to find the top rad hose had completely split, any idea what could cause this ? the rad hose is an aftermarket one and didn't look very old. any idea what could of caused it ?

    Have you taken the lights out and cleaned where they seal ? You could put some Vaseline on the seals see if that helps

    My 98 spec bumper had holes in it where the original lip was attached, for some reason it wasn't on the car when I bought it but I'm replica splitter is bonded on, hope it helps :-)

    As long as it's not sealed your fine, the surface area of the vent need to be the equivalent to both of the ports. It doesn't need the baffle you could put some wire wool in to collect the vapours

    So my most rescent update is that I've finally got my mums private reg back with a big thanks to rob bower and dangeestarlet, I've also purchased a new wheel I wanted something with a sort of oem look but with the solid feel of aftermarket,

    The custom ones usually have some form of baffle to help catch the vapours, the biggest thing to look for is to make sure it is vented otherwise it will cause excess pressure in the engine
