yeah its tricky buying 2nd hand coilovers as there's plenty of people that sell fully working sets to find out 3 are knackered, but on the plus side ive found replacement shocks for £97 deliivered each :-)

not sure if you know but most coilovers use the same shock and its just different springs over the range. but miesters seem to be the most popular for a daily :-)

When I bought mine the was one bolt holding the front gearbox mount (I found out after it snapped off) came to remove the box the ball joint bolts was finger tight there was quiet a few bolts missing. Oh and some crazy shit exhaust which had broke around the centre silencer allowing me to pull the exhaust out with the baffles. Legendary work fella.

I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was worth a go competing, I was surprised you didn't win the 80's class Simon was defo my favourite. The best bit about the little shows is since there's fewer you get to have a proper chat and a good laugh :-) I'm sure Drongo has plenty of photos of it :-)

Thanks buddy. I got mine off of eBay buddy dirt cheap :-) Imo I think the smd opposed to led are better for dials as they project light better :-)

Another update Well my gearbox housing decided to break, so I replaced the casing which saved a hefty wedge so that was a bonus :-) Everything went pretty well and hopefully I can make a simply write up in case anyone else needs to do the same :-) Then my car went for a short visit to Jdm-Ep and had a set of purple engine bay washers which has brightened up the bay very well. I dropped my front bumper of at Simon Richardsons while I went for a week to Newquay and came home to my bumper all freshly painted and fitted a 98 spec splitter. He has done a fantastic job and can't recommend him enough. He even give the caps to cover the screws a fresh coat of black. It's made the car look so clean :-) I've been bugging the jason at motivated design as I wanted some stainless dials for glanzas he did a while back to do me a set :-) So they got fitted ready for a show tomorrow Unfortunately I ran out of green bulbs so until that arrives orange will do. But they look fantastic:-) Win win update for me.
