happydays so should be safe enough running 12psi? also any idea why even tho its boosting higher now than standard why it doesnt feel as quick as when the engine was in the silver glanza, i know the white car is slightly heavier because its sunroof model has slightly bigger wheels, and doesnt have carbon fiber bonnet, but i still dont think that extra should effect it as much as it is

since i had my engine change from my silver car (now sold) into my white V, it has been boost creeping to around 12psi and still not hitting fuel cut wich i thought kicks into safe mode anything over .8psi?.. as i had the same problem with my gt advance it was boosting high but kicked into safe mode, and have also noticed even tho its boosting alot higher now it doesnt feel anywere near as quick as what the silver car was on standard boost.. still same engine and same turbo, im proper confused, any advice appreciated

i recently had an engine took out of my silver 96spec glanza and put into my white v (as the big end bearings went in the white v's engine) had no problem whatsoever with the engine while it was still in the silver car but since it was dropped into the V, it has been revving to 1.1k rpm on idle and throwing the engine management light and abs light on together as soon as i go over 2.5k,rpm (doesnt come on if i stay below that) and also the oil light when the car warms up, tried fault code and it was bringing up something to do with intercooler/air to fuel ratio, and knock sensor, so changed back to tmic incase it had something to do with the fmic, changed knock sensor, and still no joy, car is also now boost creeping to nearly 14psi without boost controller but will post that in the appropriate place, and as said before the engine was running 110% before it was put into the other car would appreciate any advice

Im up for this aswell will be there in my white V painwork Isn't great either could do with touch up here and there but ah well will get round to that later lol

tried blocking the dump valve off, no difference stil only boosting to .5 have yet to get the actuator checked I did notice think it was low boost pipe that was connected to the standard plastic efi pipe (intake?) has came off and wont stay on and noticed somebody has tried bondin it in before have no fone to post pics yet (because im useless at trying to explain what im on about) but was thinking that might be part of the problem.. thanks again for advice, cant wait to be boosting properly again, ^^ think 11psi is 1.1 bar have hear of few guys runnin on 1.1 bar on ct9 and standard internals wouldnt fancy chancing it myself tho without a remap incase llol

cheers for the advice guys will get the actuator looked at tomoz, checked pipes and rubbers and all earlier were all tight but noticed that the dump valve sound as if its blowing air just as it starts to hit into boost and doesn't really sound that loud either dono if im jus used to the 1 I have on my silver glanza wich sounds nicer and loud'ish,i would of used it but doesn't fit into my v, as it was designed for the tmic, think I might need a new 1? also is 11 psi safe to run on standard internals?

lol good luck with it anyways bud, just try make sure after uv had a good look around it, u put the foot down or get him to put the foot down in it before u buy make if its solid shell and if thers no smoke plenty of poke and no crunching in the gears orany knocking sounds then she well worth the doe, and worth the putting the money into as the potential is crazy in these wee cars since they're so light, as im sure your well aware of being a bike guy again tho im no expert im sure some of the guys on here with bit more knowledge can advise you bit better, as ya can prob tel already im jus bit biased cuz have always loved starlets/glanzas lol
