  4. ah ok i was wondering if it would affect the flow alrite, i just though of using a silicone reducer. also what difference did u notice with this filter e.g. has it affected the low end power or is the increase balanced nicely across the rev's
  5. hello im interested in purchasing a bmc cda airfilter at the moment as i could possible get a second hand one a bit cheaper. the problem id that i am confused by their sizing of their air filters please bear with me as i need some else's ideas on this i copied this off their web site which gives their sizing for the cda filters The CDA filtering system is a cylindrical shaped Carbon Airbox containing a washable, regeneratable filter. Replacing the original filter box with the CDA one, the fresh air flows directly to the filter and is taken in by the engine through a flow switch with minimu
  6. hi mate i have a koni adjustable shocks on tein springs and it makes a massive difference to handling over stock my car was very indecisive about where it was going on the road before these mods. also if you can afford it then i believe that the whiteline anti lift kit also makes a noticable difference for little money. this i can't vouch for yet but thats my mod for after xmas after my service.. also a adjustable panhard rod is advised if your lowering it because it will help with the back end, bringing it back in line.
  7. hey man that sounds like a very handything to have. i'd be interested just one question mate does this catalogue include trd parts or is it possible to get a seperate trd catalogue? its just i find looking for trd parts on the net a pain

  9. since this is in relation to rev's ive been told that you can adjust the idle revs (when it isn't running wit the automatic choke) by a adjusting a screw on the throttle body..... is this true??? and could someone point me where to look for this screw because i can't find it
  10. yeah i drove home earlier which is about 25 miles and i was grand almost, id say balancing them tomorow will totally sort the problem thank f**k because i though that it mite be sumthing expensive

  12. ok im going gettin gthe balancing done in a minute if the rims were buckled will it show up in the balancing e.g. not being able to balance properly? i know that sounds like a stupid question but I've e neva had a buckled rim before.
  13. yeah they are i saw the guy do the balancing when i got he alignment done
  14. hey posted this on tgtt aswell but grateful for all opinions 2 & a half months ago i changed my springs (a change of lowering springs, shocks were already koni adj's) and had the car's alignment done, prior to changing my springs i had a slight vibration coming up tru the steering. at the time it wasn't very noticable. but recently within the last month the vibration has become increasingly noticable the vibration comes up tru the steering wheel when doing 50-60 mph on a reasonable smooth road but if im at 65- 70 on all roads then i can feel it. i was wondering if anyone has any opinions
