  2. hey dude welcome to the site. i did my test 2 years ao in the starlet with gold 15" rims 50mm lowered and custom door installs and i got no hassle abou the condition of the car and i passed.
  3. ah thanx mate...... i don't have any guages on the A pillar yet but i am becoming very attracted to sum defi guages.... I used to be around CIT allot there during the college year that could be MART that your seeing now and again in bishopstown. he's got a bloody nice ep aswell but its 2dr. myself and GT_IRL on TGTT went to their meet in mullingar a couple of weeks ago, and he's very interested in organising a cork meet, I was thinking that we could make a dual club meet. If u guys need any help organising a meet then u know where to find me......
  4. hey Michael welcome to the site, its gud to see another cork fella on here.. what part of cork are you from? im from macroom originally but i spend abit of time in the city aswell because im renting a place in there at the moment. What are your plans for the cars we must meet up sum time as the cork numbers are increasing on here aswell as on TGTT

  7. thanx mate my goal is to make a serious starlet from the most unlikely model.... nuthing but the best for my motor. for now she will remain a bit of a sleeper without 2much body work. yeah the lightweight pulleys do make a difference it really does rev alot more freely with them and she pulls a tiny bit harder aswell id say, there is no issues with the pulleys that i have fitted, but the water pump is the press fitted version on mine and i bought the bolt on one and alternater pulley are is a different shaft size on my own alternator pm replied to Nic

  12. hey everyone. as the title says i want to know how to change the track rod thats attached to the hub. Now i can get the track rod end off the hub thats not the problem, what i cant do is get the threaded rod from the steering rack off it. is there a knack to getting this off or is it brute force. im hoping to do this myself and save sum money so any help would be appreciated.

Rick im interested in a set of Reflets ALSO question to everyone here; Is there a way to wire up the Reflet lights in such a way to have reverse and fog with out having seperate fog and reverse lights. I think that it would really help attract business from N/A drivers if a guide was put together for the above option.
  15. dont worry mate i will write it up properly when i get it off during the weekend.... here's what Idrees had to say earlier.. "Remove the wiper motor to access the two nuts on the inside of the tailgate, then there are 4 clips. One on each corner, just pull it off after removing the nuts. Worked for me."

  17. hey every one as above, i have a spare glanza boot lid at home at the moment and i want to remove the number plate surround from it to sell as im strapped for cash. ive tried removing the surround by undoing two 10mm nots that i saw but it seems very solid. Can anyone give me any pointers on removing this??? thanx
  18. oh rite. i didnt know that he was your bro... when i did the electrics i went to the breakers and got sum of the flexi tube things and drilled out the holes with a hole saw...
  19. i thought that it was sumthing to do with car importation laws as to the reason that u couldn't get any R34's
  20. hey idrees if its glanza doors your using then ya ull be fine. but did your starlet come with electricsof some sort in the doors originally if not then u will still need to drill the pillar.

"Idrees Thanks (from Tayyib) Where do the regulators go? that is correct about the wiring the piece of the loom that u need is only going from the door to just inside the footwell. as for the electric regulators these replace the "keep fit ones" is just a matter of undo the manual regulators and then replace with elec regulators. also i forgot to mention that u will have to drill the doors and pillars in order to fit the wiring and fit a set of those flexi tubes that u see in other cars, its more awkward then difficult but it will allow u to fit all sorts of electrics in the doors after
