Thanx Sparky, I just wana make a few changes to the design and then I will paint it matt black and happy days after that... Thanx Joz, I know it was a long time getting to this point. In a word Yes, this was time consuming to make, it took a fair bit of careful marking and measuring to first lay the design out on the sheet metal, then cutting it out and finishing and forming so on..... Thanx Si, Ive been after one of these since the group buy collapsed so I decided to produce mine own. Now that I have this one made and fitted I am going to change the design a little just to make the panel look a little sweeter (not any major changes just looks wise), If not for those who may wish to buy one then for my own good.

that looks like a sweet exhaust man, Id be tempted to invest in one of those myself but like you I cant decide which would be best suited to my needs

It would indeed mate, And I will probably end up painting it matt black after a while but I just left it as bare metal for now as I wanted people to get an idea of how it looks

I do agree wit you that it does take sum of the attention away from the engine bay effectively.. I had also considered matt black.......

N/A Cooling Panel update Well I've been fairly busy with work lately so its taken its time for me to develop and fabricate this. I have as of this evening just my very own N/A cooling panel. Its been made out of 1.5mm thick aluminum and has a very fine brushed finish on it. I must say that, im very happy with the overall design and result and would like people's opinions on this... Here are the pics of it Opinions welcome from all... Also if anyone is interested I may fabricate a few more of these........

well i did the bounce test and there's little to no bounce at the rear, well none I can see anyway. also the ride quality was always good in them but the change in ride quality could be down to the tire pressure im using (I've set tire pressure a good bit higher to see what difference it would make to the car), I mite rip out the rear's and adjust them alittle softer to see if it improves things.

well the springs are tein brand and aprox 24 months old, also I believe that when I fitted them the box was marked for the ep82 gt turbo would this have affected the ride height, with the ep82 difference in ride height. I will check for any bounce in the shocks this evening. thanx for that tip wallace

ya nuthing looks obivously buggered to me. If the rear koni's were the only buggered one would it cause the rear to drop like it has? you see I want to fit my ALK and ARB this week and change a lower ball joint and track rod end and I though that now would be the best time to fit this problem.

hey everyone lately when ive the starlet parked up and you look at it from the side, it appears that the rear is sitting slightly lower then the front. now the difference isn't much but its enough to bug me. So I basically want your opinions on what could be the cause of this happeing? here's what I though of so far Buggered rear shocks (these are 3 year old koni's) sagging rear springs also as a side note my ride quality has gotten a bit poorer lately could this be anything to do with it Thanx in advance for any help Nicholas

hey dude sorry to hear the bad news, at least u may be able to fix it.

I believe that they should be fitted underneath the radiators brackets. While I don't have one fitted ...yet well thats my guess anyway
