Right I have a mk2 gt turbo which I need to change a Conrod in I have 2 4efe engines paste one out of a 96 glanza S & the other is a normal uk spec starlet 4efe can I use a Conrod out of one of them for my mk2 gt turbo?

Is there a difference guys?

Need standard conrods & end caps or if anyone has forged ones cheap may buy them

Right I spun a bearing a few weeks ago. Never touched an engine in my life. I bought new acl bearings. Drained oil, cleaned sump, checked for damage. Used 1000 fine wet & dry to take scores out out new bearings in now when I done the end cap on the Conrod it spun a bearing on it was really hard to get back on the Conrod anyway I torqued it up & she fired straight away with a very light knock. Does this mean that my Conrod/end cap is bent :/? If so is there anyway I can change a Conrod without having to take the head of & also will a 4efe Conrod fit with a 4efte piston & take boost too?

Right so I've just had my gt turbo back from headgasket being replaced etc pretty sure I was ripped off but hey go :/ now when I picked the car up it was in night so I turned lights on & front light came on, dials didn't light up & rear light didn't work. Brake lights are working & indicators. There was a 20a fuse blown on the fuse board inside car & when the "mechanic" put a 15a in it blew straight away :/ he got stressed & was like this isn't my problem then I said it was working before & he just got shirty so I told him not to worry & I'll get it sorted he was complaining that there were wires everywhere & it was all a mess which can be expected of a car this age due to people playing around with it etc Any help would be appreciated many thanks

Right so I bought a car couple of weeks ago now it's not running done a compression test here are the results 1. 0 compression 2. 0 compression 3. 110 loosing compression 4.150 compression Now I have been told by the mechanic that my headgasket may have gone but the guy I bought it off said inlet & outlet vales may be open at same time. Now I'm a bit short on cash & want to remove head myself so that it keep the bill down in the garage could someone give me a step by step guide to remove the head of an ep82 gt turbo please & also tell me what I am looking for. I can do basic mechanics but never done an engine on my own before many thanks All help is very appreciated
