Your right there but i was worried that they were going to class it as a total loss given its age etc but luckily not hahaha

Got started tonight. Took the rear bumper off no damage behind it i was so happy haha!! Got to start on the work, heres the damage it dont take much to get your starlet written off!! The smash had put two cracks in my bumper n stressed cracked it over half the bumper! Luckily it was mainly in the paint and not in the plastic and put two dents and a few scratches in my boot. I plastic welded the rear bumper together and buzzed all the paint off the bumper to to make sure i hadnt missed anything. Then filled the dents in the tail gate, and blocked out a few stone chips that happened when my rear window smashed.i got them in final skim of filler tonight ill block them down and primer them tomorrow. Once my bumpers prepped ill reseal the splitter to the bumper when i paint it It was sad sanding away all the work I've done especially seems I've not had it on the road a year yet since i painted it but im so glad its only this and not majorly bad, if it was a total loss i would have been gutted, its times like this im thankful to work in a bodyshop because id imagine a fair few starlets would get scrapped oncr written off even with only small damage like this! But she will soon be back in the road i have a few new parts to go on too

Thats such bad luck mate kinda thing that would happen to me! All the best dude i hope it can be sorted! Had my assesors ring me today and I've been given the go ahead with my car now and getting paid out for it, given me a fairly decent amount for it so im pretty chuffed

Is much work needed to fit the glanza calipers and discs?

It says mobile version i think its on the bottom left hand corner once you click it, it makes the page easier for mobile use From what i hear glanza shocks are a bit stiffer than n.a shocks

I know lads sick of sods law haha they have stuck me in a brand new corsa for now so many trips to nandos!! Just waiting for the assesor to hurry up out what ever the outcome its going back on the road i just want them to hurry up so i can have it back!!!

She will live again and i will be at japfest!! Thats my plan anyway lol

Thanks for the comments guys i should be able to repair the boot floor, but it has really pissed me off, the outside damage dont look that bad really its split my rear bumper two small dents in the boot but its the underneath thats the killer and i just have a horrible feeling that there going to write it off, if they do i hope they let me buy it back if not ill have to try n salvage as much as i can without them kicking off! Ill doubt it will be done before japfest if anything because ill have to wait for the car to be looked at by an assesor so there goes the money i paod for tickets and the hotel which was for my birthday weekend i am properly gutted everyone says its just a car forget about it blah blah you can get another but they wernt the ones who spent months late night n long weekends in the garage fixing it and getting it to how i want it, i just cant think about it as it makes me upset hahaha

I have had no luck this year at all! Haha im hoping its not too bad I've not been able to look properly yet but from what i can see my quaters are all still straight and everything and everything should be repairable. Id rather fix mine then buy another one because off the amount of work i put in to the shell and mine seems very solid underneath! Just hope my rear coilovers aint damaged or anything like that lol!

Anything can crack it just happens my dad had a brand new tubular manifold from hks fitted to his old skyline and that cracked some kits are pure shit and other cases its just bad luck!

Thanks mate! The exhaust is only tempory fitted with a universal exhaust hanger as the backbox is for a ep82 but the seller told me it was for a 91 lol! Once the hangers are re welded it will be great cheers man its nice too see it in the sun for a change!!
