  1. Fiat Punto 1.2 8v. 59hp. BEAST.
  2. Rofl. I "know" about the issues because I read about it online, I haven't owned an EVO or even have a friend that has an Evo that as suffered from crank walk - therefore I really shouldn't be offering advice regarding it as I actually really "know" jack shit apart from its definition. I "know" about building engines because I have read lots about it, but I haven't actually built one myself - so again I wouldn't offer any advice/or talk about it as if I have experience.
  3. Don't Wikipedia/Google shit and then post it as if you've had experience of it/know about it. Very gay.
  4. Indeedy, the fun is in getting to 40/60/70mph etc quickly. 135 in a Starlet feels a bit ... ooh eerr
  5. You should already have them from when you remove the plastic bit that holds the trim in place.
  6. My car rarely goes over 80mph. I'm too scared of points.
  7. I WILL GIVE YOU £2000 FOR YOUR HDI FMIC AND BUMPER! WINNER, WINNER CHICKEN DINNER!
  8. JDM 3SGTE is 255bhp. But yeah, the C20LET Nova absolutely destroyed me but my GT is pretty much stock bar exhaust so what doya expect! Seen a few Z20LET Corsa's but never seen them go; bet they're pretty quick though! If they got the better gearbox, good tyres and LSD then they'll get the jump on a GT I reckon. Who cares though...its a Nova with an engine conversion. A fair test would be comparing a stripped out C20LET Nova against a stripped out 3SGTE GT. Then its the same; stripped out, lightweight car with a 2.0l turbo lump in it!
  9. I've played with a C20LET Nova (2.0l turbo) and it was loads faster. But hey, 190bhp atw (standard C20LET power I believe) in a shell that weighs slightly less - what you expect? A fairly modded GT and it would be a different story.
  10. Looking good mate! Where did u get the Jap learner sticker from though?
  11. Whats the spec bud? 14psi on CT9?
  12. Depends on what boost you'll be running. Which in turn depends on how far youre gonna modify the engine.
  13. Well, you'll need a manifold that is flanged to mate with the TD04. The same goes for a downpipe. Extended oil and water lines. Bit of silicone hose to deal with the air intake and intercooler piping route. And you'd probably need to clock it for ease of fitting a FMIC. Depending on mani you might need a half-sized Civic rad etc. But then you need to decide what TD04's best...11g,13g etc. Do a search y0!
  14. Keep it 4E baby! (Or if you really, really want that tiny bit more displacement for more power, get a 5E block!) Seen a couple 5EFTEs go...made mine look as if it was going backwards.
  15. You need to look into it mate. Depends what you want from your car! Quite a few variations of the TD04 so have a look on here and TGTT for some more info! TD05 might be a bit laggy on a 4EFTE but again, its up to you.
  16. I don't get everyone telling people to calm down and stop bickering, no ones bickering
  17. Make me a mod and everything shall be fixed.
  18. lol ok. The only solution to "pointless threads" is to moderate them. The mod has to decide for themselves when its OK to close a thread and we should be able to trust their judgement. I don't see that many pointless threads tbh, just the odd one from Cal sometimes. I just thought it would be funny to poke fun as I noticed there were a few silly threads from Cal in the space of a few days... Whats worse is sometimes (not very often!) people give others bad/dodgy advice...thats pretty annoying too!
