Cheers for reply's, so i should be okay to use the ACL big end bearings .? Yeah a few people have said it probably caused because of the fuel that i used but at the time i had no choice! , i just didn't want it to be serious so that's why i took a look a big end bearing for any wear or signs of scoring. The car drives brilliant now i had it mapped by TD and i can't see it going bang , it's not forged just standard.

I thought it was a almost like mini microphone listening for non familiar sounds in the bottom end ? It only comes on when it gets warm and TD said it could be shit fuel that i put in when i had no choice , the car was mapped to v power and i had to put normal in ?

Just a quick question as i'm not sure myself, Popped the sump off today to take a look at big ends as engine management light came on , Did a diagnostic and came back to the knock sensor which was replaced 2 weeks ago by TD, the car wasn't knocking but i weren't taking any chances with it The big ends look ok but i'm going to replace them anyway as piece of mind ! My question is will the ACL heavy duty bearing be okay for my car ( glanza v ) the number on the old bearings is "6j2d" with a little symbol next to them which i'm guessing are standard big ends. Don't want to buy them and not fitting because of different sizes .

Finally found out if my car has MOT !!

I had it mapped at td last week on v power and have put shit petrol in it having no choice which may be sending false signals

Emb - 5 flashes then 2 flashes

After getting my back from tuning developments they fitted a new knock sensor and other bits and bobs My car is now holding the boost and not releasing it ,feels like it holding back massively and engine management lights came on and comes off Is this the knock sensor ?

Came though leisure park in the corner where the car's where , white glanza and think reg started with T ?

Just the usual spec that everyone else run's to be honest , EMB , Wepr td04L turbo setup and all the other usual mod's , it was a low millage engine that i got from a friend !

Yeh 0.9 bar is plenty far enough for me , drive's like a different car now ! , screamer FTW aswell

Just got my Glanza back from TD getting EMB fitted and it made around 230-240bhp on a td04 @0.9 bar I can say i'm over the moon with that result ! Would just like the thank the TD team for there work and will defiantly being go back there in future Top Guys , cheers !

All depends on how much glue there is and how old they are !

It's such a pig of a job , the rears came off easy with a blade and rip off in 2 bits, but the the glue on my side window's took me hour's to get off and i wish i never started it ! , i used a bit of thinners and petrol to get the glue off, trust me once you start it there' s no going back !!
