i have one fitted.. it makes difference!

70 psi on startup and arounf 20 warm on idle. 10 50 oil

aftermarket gauge mainly.or try hoocking a gauge instead of the sensor

the oil light lights up if it senses low oil pressure, you can have full sump of oil and still lights up.. but if you are having oil and abs light i must say its something in electronics

thats what im suspecting.

the test was done with wide open throttle. is it possible to be purposely done? and be that low? would a teaspoom of oil raise compression by 50psi? :/

its the cheapest one on ebay.. maybe that whats the problem

The engine runs perfectly fine.. pulls great .. no smoke no missfires. thats what weird :/

im getting 125 psi on warm engine and 175 psi with a teaspoon of oil.

the problem is i had an engine rebuild 5 years ago and i didnt have idea on the things he done. i know they are wossner low compression. i know that i have an athena head gasket.. but dont know what thickness. had even done some headwork too... im not feeling any loss in power i just did this test since i bought a gauge for my friend. should i take all the plugs out or one at a time? i will try and test my engine on warm and post up the results.

Has anyone here managed to swap gbox from another toyota car? Im tired of rebuilding mine and changing syncros every now and then to have decent gearshifting
