  1. Evo's are nice it's interesting to hear what people have to say about them. I was in a 300+ Evo the other week. I don't know whether he was putting the pedal to the metal but, I dunno. Yeah they're fast. But they're big cars so it just doesn't feel as fast as it should. Cracking cars though.
  2. Reminds me of Jack Nicholson in The Departed lmao!
  3. Me and my mate had the same shock a couple of months back. Bought his Mazda mx 5 a few years ago. It got rear ended and written off, only to find that it was a cat C and the insurance didn't want to pay a fair price for it! Hope you payed a reasonable price. As it stood there it was a cat C write off and that was the day we bought it. Guttering
  4. Love hondas myself. What did you have. Why did you cange? Me and my mate went to dumfries from cheltenham to pick up a Honda civic coupe. The guy dropped in a dz16 engine in and turbo chraged it. It's a monster.
  5. Yeah that's propa nice. Must have cost you an arm and a leg!
  6. Yeah I'm not surprised. What is the likeliness of another completely standard Glanza being in the UK is?
  7. Haha Shorty you Display picture makes me roar!
  8. Yeah cheers. This seems like a really good forum. Lots of active members. I will consider becoming a club member once I own a Starlet. I'm sure it'll be worth the money.
  9. Seriously lol. I'm thinking that I want a Mk 3 GT Turbo over the Glanza. Love the styling of the GT's and the quad headlights of the mk 3s Lush. I just can't earn the money fast enough to get one.
  10. Very nice. Shame about the pink. You might have been better off seeing anyone wanted to trade for standard. Since somebody clearly went to a lot of effort doing that. Still I can't help say it does look smart.
  11. Like the wheel colour. Like the look of that A LOT! How much is this going to cost lmao. Well worth it mate!
  12. Wow what a build thread. I don't want to ask how much you've spent so far. I bet it's a fúck ton though. Very nice work.
  13. That is the reason why I'm after one. Is they're highly tuneable. But I don't mind a Standard one. (Good luck finding one though). I've got my motorbikes if I want speed. I'll be sure to chek it out.,
  14. Aye that wasn't what I mean't lol. Naturally these cars get battered. Should the engine fail I was thinking it's probably cheaper to pick up a Standard Toyota Starlet. Swap the engines over but keep the turbo, manifold, etc. So instead of having the engine rebuilt. That is a good shout. The standard Starlets are cheap enough to buy and use to get used to. But then that's just a waste of money. I'm not a prat. I have driven 200+ bhp cars. Albeit not at 200 bhp. But that's what I'd intend on doing to the starlet. Just nice and steady. I don't like looking for cars when I don't have
  15. Yeah that's really useful. Amazing cars. I've just been reading some of the threads on here. I can appreciate why they are expensive. But the crashes on here are a bit intimidating. I've got a long while for saving. It's my understanding that the standard 1.3 engines out of the starlets are universal. I.e. the non turbo is identical to the turbo? Is an engine swap feasible. Again I'm sure this is on the forum. I best get digging. I just don't want to be a one hit wonder that you see so often on forums. This place seems really useful.
  16. Nice photography. What camera are you using?
  17. Wow some of these are faily recent. It's amazing the recycling that goes into these cars. I wonder why Toyota don't make a comeback with the starlet. Since there is such a colt following?
  18. Yeah I appreciate that. I'm no car expert but I'd consider myself an expert on my bike. I moderate on the forum for it and am the Go To Guy lol. What sort of price would be worth saving up for a for semi decent one. Also what models. There is the Glanza V and S. But the V is the only turbo out the two. Then there are the GT Turbo models. I'm aware that Glanza V's are imports? Not sure. Is there somewhere on this forum I can find this out? Which would you reccomend saving. Like my model bike the older ones were the better ones. But that's not always the way with Cars.
  19. Hello, I've had my car license for a number of years but never actually owned a car. The cost to run them was always so much more than my motorbikes (which I also have a license for) that I couldn't bear it. I'm paying like £80 a year insurance. £50 a month fuel and £20 tax. Compare that to a car wow....You can see my predicament. I'm massively into tuning my motorbike It's a two stroke so it's nice and easy to tune. Spent £££ on it and built up some experience with engines and tools. The final stages of my motorbike require me to take it off the road so now I actually want a car t
