  1. Firefox, with the basics, HTTPS everywhere and User Agent Switcher. If I'm running my Debian machine then it's 'IceWeasal' lmao! Firefox clone
  2. Yeah see this is what I've been hearing. From what I've read it's another version of Halo lmao. I won't be getting a PS4 until the next Gran Turismo, even if that means I can't play MGS lmao! I've got my beast of a gaming rig and that'll do for now. PS3 graphics are still sweet imo, much better than my Sega Genesis sat next to it, which in all fairness gets more use than my PC (in terms of gaming lmao!)
  3. What operating system you running? If you're running a low spec computer then it's bound to struggle. I always had problems running it on Windows 7 but on Debian it ran sweet. No problems anymore on my machine.
  4. See I've heard mix reviews about this and read an article on it. Is it any good then?
  5. Want to share my two pence on this: I'd consider myself knowledgeable on the subject. I'm in IT as a profession. I've built home systems, but a more relevant one would be my Gaming rig, A £1600 liquid cooled gaming rig that has all the goodies you'd ever need for editing video, audio, photos, and of course, playing games. A i7 3.5GHz with 16Gb of RAM, a 280mm radiator, dedicated Audio card and enough storage to last a life time. Yeah I spent enough on this PC. But what you get, Apple would never offer. Enough power to last 10 years, and a 3K machine, if you
  6. Little offended lmao. I am going to bin that amp for a nice Modern amp. Not chavey. Just I want my Starlet to have a nice audio system. So it'll get replaced with high quality parts, for CRISP, sound. I'm not a big fan of loud noises, but can appreciate a clean sound.
  7. Well I've dismantled it all, replaced the bulbs with a piece of copper. Current flows correctly when the right switch is applied, so all ten bulbs are faulty??? Sorry to sound thick, but led bulbs. A diode only lets current flow one way, so why do I get no current flowing in either direction. I wanted to put on some cool white interior bulbs to replace the blown ones but none of them have worked. After testing the unit I can't find a fault. I've measured 1.5 volts at the lead that supplies the power (engine off), and the back of the switch says 12 volts. So I'm assuming 1.5 is correct sinc
  8. Cheers. You can see that's it is corroded. I did think that myself. I'll give that a go now. I would be surprised if it was something more complex. Thanks for the speedy reply. I haven't driven the car since buying it 3 weeks ago and I am so itching to enjoy it. But whilst I wait for money to come rolling in I want to fix these little niggles.
  9. I try and not posting Help threads but this one has me a little stumped. Interior light doesn't work. Can't get any readings on my multimeter. Got a whole stash of bulbs but none of them work. When I bought the car, one of the problems was passenger window. Assuming the motor I bought an MR2 one. Now the MR2 one will allow current in one end and out the other (which let's assume is good). The EP82 does not. Swapped them over, but nothing. I'm not getting any noise or struggling or anything. Checked fuse box drivers side. All fuses seem to be intact, although the far left fuse is mis
  10. I think I have one under my seat. Am yet to take it out and have a look. I don't get it though. Why would you want it?
  11. Item For Sale: Overflow Bottle and screen wash bottle with pump Item Condition & Description: A used overflow bottle that has come out of my recently acquired GT. I think the thermostat went on the car and the car has since been ran on water, rust collecting inside the engine has been spewed back into this bottle. I've tried to clean what I can but will want a good parifin to clean the insides nicely. Seems to hold water fine in both setups. Also still has the pump attached to the bottom. No idea of the condition of the pump since I've never used it. Price: £20 Inc postage P
  12. Damn that's annoying Hopefully you can sort it. I bet it wasn't a cheap motor either :s
  13. Was driving around town in my gt last night with the idle around 2K. Turned out it had boiled off all the water. Topped it up and it returned to normal. So that's something. However I appreciate you said your coolant is fine, just thiught it was worth mentioning.
  14. Sweet Liam, I'll remember that and contact you in the future if I require more information
  15. Sad to see this get broken, but I wasn't surprised to see the engine trouble. I was looking to buy this but the engine would have been trouble. Do you know what caused it?
  16. Ah, I'll have to keep you in mind Liam. Still new to the forum so I'm not clued up yet. Plus my turbo has no play in it, but the owner before me was running it without a filter for god knows how long so no idea how long it will last. To be honest I wouldn't replace it with a CT9 anyway. Liam, how much would a TD04L be to rebuilt. I believe that is the common upgrade for these motors isn't it? Not that I own one yet, but If I find a cheap one on eBay then I'll send it your way to be rebuilt and sit in the cupboard till the fateful day when the CT9 goes lmao!
  17. Hi, Can I ask, did you have to modify the relocation to fit. Yours looks smaller than my one. Thanks.
  18. That looks really sweet, especially for a Yaris.
  19. I like the face lift ep3's myself. My brother has one and he's putting it up for sale to get a starlet. I love the Glanza's think they look sweet. But they come with that hefty price. Could pick up a sweet GT for about half the price.
  20. What year is the Type R mate? Depending what year might give you a better choice. Say for example face lift model EP3's are coming down in price. I'd sell it whilst they're still going for good money.
  21. That's the right thing to do though. I've got too much of a guilty consciences
  22. Very smart motor. Will you be heading down to Japfest next year?
