  1. Aww well that's pretty cool. I'm in Gloucestershire But can post if that's convenient. Would have to get a quote. I'd imagine it's going to be in the £20 mark for posting them
  2. Pha! 108 for N/A. What was honda getting out of N/A road cars. 182 bhp out of their JDM 1.6 Vtec. Serious screaming power haha!
  3. The tread naturally doesn't really show on the photos. But three are okay and one is bald
  4. Item For Sale: Four alloy Wheels WITH 3 Good tyres in desperate need for Refurb. The wheels came off my gt turbo and came with the car. I recently bought some Rotas off shun (thanks again mste) and I've always said these had to go. They would be nice nice if they went to a proper Refurb place cause they have toyota centre caps. I don't know if the wheels are toyota wheels though. I have no history of the wheels maybe a celica or mr2 wheel. The tyres went flat but I haven't driven my car since I bought it and the temperature has dropped. So I don't think it's a puncture. Well they all went
  5. Thanks a lot shun. £400 for some wheels and they're in lovely condition. Proper chuffed with them. Highly rated
  6. Lol. That's what me and my brother did a cvouple of months ago. Took a plane from Bristol Airport. Flew into Belfast. Bought the car. Ferry into scotland and then drive back to Gloucestershire...got home at like 5 in morning. Work at 9! But definitely do able! He bought his car after I bought mine and for the money got so much of a nicer condition one!
  7. So it may have just been the motor. I'm pleased to say that after reassembling the centre dash it's all working again. The motor was definitely nackered don't know if the switch was but now I have a spare. And the window works. So that's good. Thanks for the help.
  8. The help is appreciated. He never has any luck with Turbo cars lol. He thought he would do it right this time, invest nicely and get a nice set up wouldn't blow on him for a good while....now he's kinda thinking why didn't he just rebuild his. But yeah he's stressing out since this is his main mode of transport and was like 'Oh it'll be a weekend Jobby...'
  9. Hello, Was wondering whether anyone can help, maybe Liam? My brother bought a Brand New WEPR Hybrid Turbo and it sounds that when the housing and intake side are clamped together the turbine clips the exhaust housing side when spun with your finger. He had to unbolt the turbo and spin the exhaust housing 180 degrees so that it would fit. However when he noticed it was clipping he spun it back. Is this normal. It seems that when you spin it with your finger and slight pressure inwards that it clips. The turbo has never been run and he is reluctant to fit until this can be clarified. Any pos
  10. The pricing imo is perfect. It's a charge to deter petty scum bags and what you get for the money is well worth it. The stickers are DIRT cheap and very nice. As well as the other bits and bobs. Spot on IMO. I want to introduce a very similar concept to the forum I moderate. We're constantly getting spammed
  11. Sweet dude nice project thread.
  12. Welcome Good site this, lots of friendly people.
  13. No, small town Cheltenham. Used to drive everywhere. Think there is more fun boosting though. Bought the car with just under 60K and sold with about 80. So roughly 20k miles. My brothers a DJ so used to drive and down the country in it doing gigs. But had a van for the week days. Ultimately my starlet is a toy. It's not my daily commuter. Yeah if you're driving a daily commuter you're going to rack up miles, but I don't understand why you'd want to tune the fook out of a daily driver. Rather just have a Micra for a daily driver and the Starlet as the weekend toy. I know funds have to p
  14. Personally I'd just wait. A year, six months, two. Doesn't matter at the end of the day. If this is a pride and joy then it's worth the wait. And it's not exactly costing you anything not to drive it. I've had my main mode of transport off the road for 7 months due to rebuilding it. Ultimately I was better off cause it was done properly. As said if the engines coming out anyway you'll never be in a better position to sort EVERYTHING out again for a long time. So if it's a job worth doing, it's worth doing right. You'll only regret it later otherwise. Also I've looked into ACL bearing
  15. Such the wrong time of the year! These are exactly what I'm after I just can't justify £400 atm. Woth christmas round the corner and what not the best I can stretch is £350. Sorry dude. I've had my eye on these for a while just can't do the buy when I haven't even driven my car yet!!!! GLWS I'm sure they'll go in the new year
  16. Not saying that. I'm just saying cheapest place for service kit implies that you don't care what it is so long as it covers the basics.
  17. Well worth NOT scrimping on basic service. After all it's that what is protecting your engine so why scrimp! An engine rebuild is more expensive than just good maintenance.
  18. What do people use for the thermostat gasket? It was just sealant when I took it apart but I'm finding that this is just getting blown away after taking it for a spin!
  19. I would like to say that the past 6 hrs working on the starlert have been worth while....but I've achieved NOTHING! FML, always next weekend :(
