  1. Hi mate, you still looking for a JAM? Might have mine ready to go in a week or two once I've got my mappable unit fitted and running, pm if you're still looking
  2. Ive swapped out the cts twice, once with a new one from TD and again with one from JDM EP, no change. Did get richer when map sensor was disconnected so guess thats working fine
  3. Ok, the Dupont pins dont work as they're too short and thin, anyone else got any suggestions where I can get these?
  4. Ok, so standard pump in and whilst there is an improvement its still not right. Now up to 11.1 fully warm. So fuel pump wasn't helping but not fully fixed. Not sure if this helps any but was randomly disconnecting sensor plugs to see if any made a difference and when i took the coolant temp one off, the ecu through up an error code but there was no difference in afr, would i not expect this to make it richer? Beginning to think its time to consign the motor to the scrap heap as I'm fresh out of ideas, its been ages since I've driven it amd I'm right out of patience.
  5. Ok, quick update on this, have tried running pnp ecu and stock ecu and still the same, best i get is 10.1 on a fully warm engine. Have changed temp sensor twice, IAT and O2 sensor with no effect. Have checked wiring and I've got continuity between sensors and relevant pins on ecu so now at a bit of a loss. Anyone think of something I'm missing?

    5e ecu?

Ok, so vaguely considering going 5e. Got the mechanical side sorted in my head but whats needed on the electrical/electronic side? Is a standalone ecu necessary or could it be run on 4e or management?
  7. Not exactly more like the below but with a much longer part on the right side https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B68TUXkwwWfmX3BxOHFCUnRXNGc/view?usp=docslist_api Wondering if they would do though
  8. Does anyone know where I can get the pins that are used in plug and play harness looms? I've got a plug in fuel computer but one of the pins has broken from the loom connector so i need a new one.
  9. Ok, thought it would just be a case of ready resistance at ambient and checking again when engine is up to working temp as a simple check, are they not linear sensors?
  10. Wondering if anyone had resistance curves or figures for the water and air temperature sensors. Would like to verify they are reading right
  11. When i did mine i plugged the cable in and let windows do its thing trying to find a driver. Once this had failed i went into device manager, right clicked on the cable that should have a yellow warning on, picked properties, then the drivers tab and update driver. Next pick search yourself and then browse to point it to the folder with the driver in. It should then install. This stuff can be soooo frustrating, it took me so long to sort on my laptop it was too late for me to do what i wanted.
  12. Hello mate Go here and download the drivers, link underneath the description http://www.sordan.ie/product/137/usb-to-db9-serial-adapter--cd-cable-rs232-9-pin-gps/ I was trying to install a similar lead in my laptop last weekend and only worked when i found the correct manufacturer driver.
  13. Would this be the same with the stock ecu also? Have tried both and same overfuelling result.
  14. Would this not show up as high pressure though? Fpr has a gauge on and this appears to show pretty constant around 2.3 bar at idle.
  15. Yeah, thats what I'm thinking now. Wondering if I've got a problem on the ecu wiring. Already had to fix one wire that was "spliced" badly way too near the plug by the previous owner so thinking there maybe something similar as i did disconnect and reconnect ecu after fitting pump so may have disturbed something.
  16. Ok, quick update after a few hours work today. Have fitted a sard fpr and adjusted it to 2.3 bar and its still overfuelling loads so it seems that its definitely something demanding more fuel be it a sensor or ecu. So next thing i think is change out o2 sensor as this would seem the most likely culprit. Also to check sensor wiring am i right in thinking that i can test continuity between ecu pin and sensor wire plug? Anyone know what pin it is?
  17. Believe id-workz has them as have seen them on ebay. There are 2 different types afaik, one with joint and the other just a simple link with bushes at either end, worth dropping them a line
  18. Having some fuelling issues after fitting a high flow fuel pump and wondering if it is related to the fpr. Does anyone have a spare stock one going cheap that i can try as a replacement
  19. Ok, if i can get it running and warmed up enough to drive I'll give it a go
  20. Ive got an emanage ultimate that I'll be looking to sell, drop me a pm
  21. Not been able to get the car out to drive, cold start afr drops off the scale and car barely runs. Stock fpr fitted
  22. Ok, no difference there. Def running rich, checked plugs and they were all sooted up. Might try changing o2 to see of that helps but would be a coincidence if it died at same time i changed the pump. What controls cold start on the gt, is it a sensor?
  23. Yes, stock fpr Not driven it yet Have AEM wideband, no need to calibrate as far as i am aware. Bit of a long shot but would the tank vent make any difference? Have noticed the last few times I've filled up a lot of air either escapes or enters. Ran it for about an hour yesterday stationary after changing pump and this morning same thing...
  24. Yeah engine is fully warm, cold starts at 10 then only climbs to 12.5 max
