  3. I need to order a set of calipers for the motor. Currently I have a single pot st202 setup with 260mm discs. There appears to be a choice of two single pot calipers, one for a 255mm disc and one for a 275mm disc, and also a twin pot. Does anyone know if these are interchangeable or which would be best to get?
  4. When I changed my rear abs discs, the ones I got came with a removable ring and so fit both abs and non abs, given this i would imagine that there is no difference.
  5. Well after a longer test drive ive discovered that one of the seals is leaking 🙁 Given this and the caliper bores were pretty rusty it looks like time for new brakes... Anyone know if there any direct replacements for single pot st202 calipers? Seem to be struggling finding the single pot units, only twin pots that I have found.
  6. Thanks for the replies. Stripped the brakes down yesterday and turns out it was corrosion in the caliper in the lip of the bore just before you reach the seal. Looks like the rubbers weren't doing a good job of keeping the moisture out. Cleaned up and working fine for the moment but suspect that I'll need new calipers at some point as the surface is pretty pitted.

  10. Ok guys, just finished fitting my race spec inlet manifold and been test driving the car but having an issue with the front brakes, running an st202 conversion. Both are dragging badly creating hot wheels and burning brakes. I've checked out both sides and they are sliding on the pins ok but the pistons on both sides seem overly hard to compress. I checked both sides by compressing the piston a little, spinning the wheel which was nice and free, then applying the brakes and trying again. Both sides I struggled to turn the wheels after trying the brakes. Granted the car sat around a little

  13. OK mate, no worries. I haven't actually used them, I bought them from Phil on here with the aim of a bigger power build but I then had a change of plan so they've sat in my cupboard for ages. They were bought in good faith as working and Phil is a trusted member but I understand if you aren't sure as I can't personally vouch for them.

  16. I have a chance at picking up a gearbox from an ae111 levin bzg, is this something that can be used as a direct fit on a ep82?

  18. How much you looking at spending? I've got a gizzmo Ebc floating around somewhere, does boost controller, fcd and turbo timer. The plug has come adrift from the wire to the boost solenoid but shouldn't be any bother to connect with a chocolate block or bullet connectors. Would let it go for £50 plus postage and paypal fees

  20. Just helped code read a mates Yaris and it has thrown a p1346 code which is camshaft/ vvt sensor. A few posts on Google search say it could be a stretched timing chain but as an off chance was wondering if anyone on here has heard of/experienced this.
