Update time!! So got my wheels on, with uniroyals rainsport 3 (I know someone would of asked what tyres I was using) still need to get some centre caps. I did have some fancy wheel nuts but they were the wrong pitch thread so had to use my old ones and rapped the socket in tape not damage the wheels.

Will be nice to see how this comes along

Update: Have done a little more work for my throttle body: Cleaned and painted idle control valve, welded and painted throttle cable spindle. Done some work on the inlet manifold made the bore to 50mm to match the throttle body and smoothed the fuel pressure regulator outlet: And finally done a little more on my bumper added a few bit along the gap so I can now work on it off the car:

I have found different bulbs have different effects I've found best leds that look like the one pictured best for lighting, I've tired many different bulb types as from trying to get a colour that no one really makes. Here is what my white sr looked like with red, by the way the 286s just has one smd led on the end.

If I can remember from breaking my white sr, there was a plug in the boot lid that then went to everything should be down the drivers side then you can feed it out from the boot lid. If this doesn't help let me know and I'll have a look in mine and get a picture for you.

Very clean, will keep my eye on this thread

ah mine had loads of miles 140,000. Could be valve stem seals, does it smoke? if so does it do it more on cold starts than warm running?
-
How many miles has the car got I took my old white sr apart and the oil rings were shot so it was burning it like no tomorrow
-
Possibly more effective to find a cheap donor car then after taking the engine, break the car for bits

Do like the rocker cover

Look at platinum alloys in Swindon just got my wheels back from them. And they will check the wheels for buckles cracks and if they need repair them for only £13 + vat per a wheel!

Cheers, I would say look on some jdm autions i got my indicators from a site buyee and i see it pretty reasonable price as i had been looking for them for months. Went on the site and found a pair straight away, did see a couple of sets on there may worth a look.
-
Brought them off a forum memeber in the for sale section, I know id workz sells them brand new at 140 quid i picked mine up for 70 quid. Just keep your eyes peeled for them as the only came on the japan models. Even JDM-EP may get a pair from time to time

Yer just clean the arch and make sure theres not git or anything in the lip. Go careful with the heat on the paint not enough it will crack but not too much as it burn the paint but you have to get pretty hot to burn it. Then just slowly ease the pressure on the roller round and go back and forth as the bit towards the front of the car starts to need to be rolled before the top touches if you know what I mean. Then I know alot of people dont do this but where the lip had been rolled up I put a bead of silicon to make sure not water gets stuck in there and rusts it.

Best one is when you know someone who has got a brand new £40,000 bmw thing to use for the week at college from work trys and plays, gets beaten twice can tell he a typical bmw driver didn't use his mirrors so nearly had a toyota badge in the side of it.

As I was explaining in my last post is that the new throttle body I got off the new corolla with the 4age and while i was disassembling the throttle the starlet tps will bolt into the this body no problem as the photo below shows: Also borrowed my mate arch roller just as only one wheel was just scraping the when going of bumps but also the new wheels stick out a few more mm so just to be safe I rolled them. Didnt have enough heat in the paint on first time so it chipped but on the inner bit so just quickly repainted it after I had finished but happy with how they have come out. the b
