that bronze did look well tbf suited the speedlines but keep a set in silver ambers or clears ive had clears on since ive had car only just put the ambers on ,uk plates on a uk bumper for me everytime

commitment on this build is up there with the best some crackers going on at minute ,mechanical, improvements,restorations and performance really lively on here which is great

looks great in that pic mate , i booked my van in 2 months ago and the celica the same mechanic i use says hes flat out as people have left it while last minute

Yeah the play was unreal I was getting the spring clunking as it wasn't holding correctly when stood still doing 3 point turns etc did kyb ever get back to you? , I did same just refurbed originals think genuine ones are 47 quid but well worth it obviously

Right so I've had an annoying clunk on the suspension and it is indeed the kyb topmounts first off as Claymore said in a earlier post they are slack and secondly the 4th nut fouls the upper spring cup and you can clearly see where its been damaged fortunately I saved the old ones as Claymore gave me the heads up I'm posting this to save people the hassle maybe we got a duff batch who knows

yeah in ep 91 progress called a starlet 20 year daily ive had it years mate 40 next year never to old for a starlet

im not putting mine in until resprays done incase it goes missing

im same mine gonna be 6 weeks 20 years on uk roads obviously takes its toll

As a silver owner I've gotta say black is still my favourite, great shots mate your silver one along with Trevstars are easily best examples on here get that lip on finish her off

Great progress mate more pics please! Mine has admittedly slowed down a little but a couple of bigger updates in the next month or so

Best mods I did was lowering springs and decent seats transformed the feel of the car

Yeah great thing to do that mate shows what the car meant to you really can't wait to get my SR in now for its proper transformation windows are coming out to check for rust I've told them to treat everything like its discontinued so not to damage it il be taking loads of pics when the panels start coming off so owners can see where potential problems may be that you can't see be nice to get mine and travs together along with an original mint white one for some proper pics

I always felt that mate with the 2zz well suited in the lotus but the celicas and corollas made it hard work cracking sound though

You really will miss it mate the effort you put in but the cars going to a enthusiast aswell trav is the right person for this car it's in good hands

Not a lots happened with the SR last couple of weeks been tight with time few parts to fit / respray when I get a few hours, did manage to take one of the other cars out though for an hour selling this one in the new year once the SR is finished, its immaculate only 63k shame to see it go not had a single issue with it toyota really made fun cars in the 90s early 2000s
