well i broke a paseo recently which has now been scrapped. anyway a guy from work needed a petrol tank for his as it was leaking badly so i sold him mine but he has since told me that he took the car to a grage to awap them over and the one i sold him which i removed from my paseo doesnt fit his paseo?? does anyone know why these cars would have different petrol tanks

years ago a friend of mine bought some of this for his citroen ax then went to pour the amount in it said on the bottle but he got it stuck in the filler neck and ended up pouring the whole lot in the tank and he didnt really have that much fuel in. when he started the car up the whole car park was filled with white smoke. weather it did the car any good or not i dont know. lol. these cars dont need the cat to pass the emisions test for the mot.

cheers aga, there were a few things it could have been really. The car is still tucked away in the garage under sheets. im missing it abit now. my mate lets me drive his ep82 from time to time so not too bad. Ive gave the engine bay a really good clean including the chassis legs, steering rack ect. i will get some polish on it before the new engine goes in. in having a bit of a problem choosing a turbo for it. i was going to run a vf35 i have but im not putting a second hand turbo which i haven't ran before on a new engine. so i was thinking of a dual ball bearing td05 16g but im still undecided. see what happens.... im in no rush. Im not taking any chances with anything this time. Just going to plod along slowly with it finishing everything off nicely. Ive got a few jobs i could be getting on with like re wrapping the engine loom. I got lots of little bits that will come in handy for tidying up the bay from the paseo.

I guess it will depend if there is an intank pump or a mechanical one in the bay. you might have to swap tanks??

bad news pulling the efi fuse out is an easy way of insuring your car wont start

really there pretty manky. tyres on them are pretty poor ones. thing is i need to tow it to the scrap yard. i think it will be going tomorrow to be turned into cans for beans.

the engine will be removed tomorrow i think so any parts can be removed straight away, im off work for 12 days so i have plenty of time to get things removed and posted.

ive looked at the rad today and it doesnt look in the best condition really, loads of the fins have dropped off and i wouldnt want to sell it really.

well the car doesnt seem to have a aerial im afraid lol. but the rad is there. i will be using the car for around a week then i think i will start stripping it.

Hows your 5e going then dude? i think im going to get one of those 3ete aasco flywheels so i can use my 4efte clutch, im temped to order one of those toga uprated oil pumps since ive had nothing but problems with these engine in this car.

i will be picking a paseo up on friday that im going to sacrifice for the good of the 4x4 lol. i cant wait to scrap that paseo shell i hate them haha. it could make it to the rr day im not sure. if it isnt ready i will be in my dc2 oh and if anyone wants any bits off the paseo before i scrap it let me know.

i will have the car on friday evening. i will get some pics after then. it might not be till after the weekend though as im on a 12 hour shift on sat and working sunday too. if you know anyone else with a paseo who wants some bits send them this way

i think the 4x4s are cursed from leaving japan.

ive bought a blue paseo si for the 5e. everything is available except the engine. i will get some more info up when i get hte car in the next few days locationis cumbria if anyone wants to pick up anything. i wont be keeping it for long as my parents said i wasnt aloud 3 cars which i now have but there on holiday for 2 weeks so they dont know haha.
