  1. My mate had one of these lightweight Glanza'. Any idea on how much lighter they are than a Standard Glanza.
  2. 29 - Standard Silver Glanza V Turbo
  3. Hi mate Mine is completely standard and silver, but minus the sticker, plus i work in Leeds and pass by Leeds uni every so often. I don't see many around Leeds though.
  4. hi mate any luck with finding a Glanza as i remember you were fairly interested in mine Thanks Ady
  5. Hi mate that was a v quick reply, but how did you reply back to me when your not logged on at the moment??? it shows that i'm the only person logged on I've pm'd you with more details I do have somebody else interested on it from here just to let you know. Thanks Ady
  6. Hi mate Are you wanting a standard model or modified Mine is completely standard and might be selling soon, first owner in the UK and mature (29 year old). Thanks Ady
  7. Hi all I know this may be a bit of a stupid question, but is it ok to use Castrol GTX Magentic 10W 40 oil for the Glanza (Manual). Its like a dark green coloured packaging for it. I've just come across a full 5 litres of it yesterday whilst just tidying up in the storage room. I must've purchaed it back in end of last year. Thanks
  8. I have my original console with games stored away somewhere. I had the bigger version of the console which came with Super Hang On and Safari Hunt built in, also came with a gun for shooting games. Anyone remember Castle of Illusion starring Mickey Mouse on there, one of my fave games on that console.
  9. Hi mate The guy from Todoroki-Trading seems a good bloke and always replies quickly to emails, i was really tempted to import one from him, but i found and purchased one from someone else who had just imported it. What kinda spec are you looking or are you wanting a standard model. Just be weary of what you get sent is what you'll have. I've heard a few negative stories about people importing Glanza's which seem fine on the sites they are advertised on, but once they've got here, they have had problems such as blown or leaking turbos, dodgy paint work (probs accident damaged), slipping clutches etc. Thanks
  10. hi mate are u wanting to buy standard or modified might be selling mine soon if your interested, fully standard and mature owner (29 years old) only owned by me in the UK since it arrived.
  11. hi mate If you go on www.quinn-direct.co.uk they have the Glanza listed on there, i think nobody else does as i went through the same situation as you. I've run my Glanza on Tesco Super Unleaded and that does the job fine. I think you can get a good one for around £4000 - £4500, although i had somebody interested in my completely standard on one here and i was selling at £3750 (just waiting to here from him) and mine has approx 55,000 miles on it. Do you want to buy standard or modified? I've had no problems with mine so far, it runs very well and does me very good economy too, seems to be just as good on fuel as my previous 1.1 Ford Fiesta lol. Any more questions pm me or just ask away. Thanks Ady
  12. Hello all I think it would be good to say that Glanza's should be holding their value and maybe increasing slightly. The reason for this is that currently the conversion rate for £1 is 190 Japanese Yen, where as a few months ago it as £1 to 225 Japanese Yen. I was going to import an RX7 but as a result of this i'm having to pay an extra £450 for the actual cost of the car excluding all the relevant costs. This also means that traders importing cars will be pricing them higher than they did a few months ago in order to make up their costs and make a bit of profit. A couple of guys who import cars near where i live have already taken this into consideration and are not importing as much or waiting until the conversion rate for £1 to Japanese Yen increases. Any views on this?
  13. hi mate Just send u a pm. Thanks Ady
  14. Hi mate Personally i find standard the best as its more likely they've not been driven hard. I viewed 4 Glanza's and purchased the 4th one which is totally standard and drives very well. When i viewed the others, i just felt they didn't perform as they should have done and all were modified in some way. Thanks Ady
  15. Is the sale a private or trade sale, how much are you willing to spend and are you buying standard or modified. Its highly unlikely you'll get any service history with the car if its just come in from Japan. However you should get an MOT document, if its got MOT that is and maybe a car registration document.
  16. Not sure how much he paid for it, but he said thats its defo quick for what is it and probs quicker than a standard Manual Glanza.
  17. Sorry forgot to mention, but on the front where is says Glanza, there is not Glanza written and is just a clear grill.
  18. Whats the reason for it being called the poverty spec Glanza, i presume it may have something to do with no electrics.
  19. Hello all A friend of mine has recently purchased a fresh imported Glanza in white, however when i had a look at it, there were things on it which were different to other manual Glanzas. First of all it didn't have any electric mirrors or electric windows (just the wind up and down ones). Just behind the left headlight under the bonnet there is quite a big gap there, easily enough space to put a battery. He told me that its a lightweight model (i presume it may be slightly lighter) its on a 1998 plate. The rest of the car is all standard apart from a dump valve. Has anybody else come across a similar Glanza to this?
