My mum had a mk2 octavia VRS , sold it a couple of months back She never drove it to its potential, but when i drove it , god it was quick off the mark, in 2nd it would take off from just over 1000 RPM all the way to the red line and was bloody fast

OOH, it may well be a tiny lane around by me then I live literally right on the symonds yat turning. It was probs one of the lanes on the symonds yat to hereford road then! Was that a starlet your mate got?

I just got back from hereford myseld about an hour ago didnt see any about though Havnt got a clue who they could have been, i know of a green one in ross with like 9 spoke wheels and a red one with speedlines and thats it. You probs drove straight by my house , would be good to see another starlet around

Did the red starlet have speedlines on it? If so it is a women from Ross-on-Wye. I live right between ross and monmouth , but there isnt anyone local around here on the site that i know of adam

I sold my dam clean SR as I got a bit bored of the lack of speed. Bought the 205 Rallye for the performance and retro-ness , but after a while the affect wore off. Sure it was probs the best car I will ever own for back lanes/ B road blasts on a sunday , but day to day it was a nightmare, cost me quit a lot just to keep on the road and no luxaries at all. So now back with an SR as a cheap run-about until I save for a Glanza. Grass isn't always greener in the long run! Adam

Black mountain road is pretty awesome! Thinking of going back up there very soon myself for a bit of fun The roads around it are also pretty luush!, a lot of nice roads around the brecons
