Cheers, will check the other terminal's while pressing the horn. Another one should set the fuse tester off. So simple but so fucking annoying will get a meter tomorrow
seen a purple gt in front of me at mill street roundabout in ards yesterday, i was flashing the lights but you didnt see me lol black gt i see all the time parked in gilnahirk in the street beside the garage.
as above folks, i think my problem is with the horn relay now ? how do i test it ? when the relay is out there is power at 1 pin where it has been removed, top right from memory. when the horn is pressed should i get another terminal going live ?? anyone near me fancy swapping there relay in to see ??
googled it and found a thread on here lol. said about the hazard switch being swpped with the de-mist by mistake, diffrent connections so not that. also sadi about the hazard light switch being loose?? i had the switches disconnected when fitting the radio so just checked it there and it clicked into place again, not the conector but the switch itself. and now they work again. what the actual fuck folks lol
few things done today, fitted my trd steering wheel and my sony media centre head-unit with my olde skool joystick remote that ive had since 1998 also fitted my single din cubby hole, its out of my gt4 as is the wheel
as above folks, changed the steering wheel over now the fucking indicators dont work. origanal steering wheel back on and no diffrence. i did have the plug disconnected but it was put back on again. Hazards lights still work as do headlights etc. i had a jumper wire going into the horn connection on the plug to check the horn but cant see this having anything to do with it ???
right still no horn ffs, it works when a wire is put to it and battery ffs. changed the steering too with a known working switch and still no joy, old standard wheel back in and still nothing. no power is getting to the horn when tested with the fuse tester. HELP LOL
I traded it with a buddy who buys/sells/swaps cars 3 weeks later the starter and clutch went it was pimped out with all the irmisher stuff and he got 800£ and a diesel Leon lmfao

I had this issue when changing mine, 98 1.3 n/a non abs. Was told there was 2 different sizes and the difference was 9mm. The factors gave me the smaller set and I needed the bigger set. When I compared them the difference was only about 6mm. I fitted them up anyway with new pads and they are OK there is MAYBE about 1mm of pad overhanging but they work well. Mine looks normal after a few hundred miles now. Even pad wear too with no lips
