Hi there guys so im thinking of getting a EBC I already have a HKS actuator on my car and will be fitting my new manifold this weekend. I just want to know your results of them to be honest and that kind of gains you have had, I dont have a FCD or an aftermarket ECU so wont be going over 0.8 bar so i dont hit fuel cut , however i want some nice power gains untill i get it mapped by TD this year when i get a ECU and tune. Let me know your experience's and also what controllers your using, Im thinking of getting a GReedy, GFB or a blitz controller. And if you selling one let me know haha

So i have just recently purchased a set of MOMAN dials off ebay, i am comfortable getting the dial cluster ready for the install but im very inexperienced at wiring/electrical work. Are these straight forward to fit or can they be tricky? any information on this would be helpful If anyone knows someone in the Hull/beverley area than can help that would be much appreciated. Thanks josh. Here is a link to the dials to give you an idea: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TOYOTA-STARLET-GLANZA-glow-gauges-plasma-dials-tacho-cluster-plates-indiglo-set-/252103351327?hash=item3ab287dc1f:g:HH0AAOSwPcVV1

(THE MAIN HEAD LIGHTS ARE NOT AFFECTED JUST ALL THE LITTLE STUFF) any of you guys have an idea why this is happening it has done it since i have had the car? Could it be a bad earth? Im not a 100% sure, Im not really much of a mechanic i just try and do the little things i can and get the rest done at a friends garage. I will have to ask him about it as i just want to be able to drive my car and enjoy thrashing it now and again but i cant due to the suspension. My tyres are the standard size and nothing has been changed, I just wish i knew more about cars and had someone to help me learn locally but i dont so its not the cheapest taking it to a garage everytime to get things sorted.
-
So im getting pretty sick of my current suspension issue, I cannot drive down a country road faster than 40mph with out going over a slight bump and my tyres hit the wheel arches, The car has been lowered by 40mm by the past owner, I am looking at changing the springs alone and not the coilovers as i dont have much money, What are the best and stiffest spring at normal/lowered ride height. (bare in mind i was the only person in the car at the time and no items in the boot apart from my spare tyre)

ok i will order one, there 9mm filters arnt they?
-
Ok thanks man i really appreciate the help from everyone im new to this and learning all these new things a long the way , I just hope i dont make a mistake one day that i regret haha, thanks for taking time out your day guys for helping a novice

DO i still need the filter even though the catch can is now going to atmosphere?
-
OK this is the before photo with both pipes blocked as you can see and also the pipe blocked going to the FMIC And this is the after photo with the vacuum line blocked and the FMIC blocked but the breather going to the catch can then the other pipe is going under the car and going to atmosphere. I think i have fixed the issue would you say that was my problem and now should be resolved? Thanks josh
-
Ok so i have just been outside and installed the catch can again, i will show you the set up now and you should be able to tell me if that is what was causing the issue i was having. I will post a before and after photo what it looked like 30 mins ago and what it looks like now.

I post a picture now i think i know where i have fucked up, im new to this guys im sorry
-
you know the nozzle on the crankcase that would go to a catch can that is blocked, i think i have figured it out i need to set my catch can up and the second line thats on the catch can direct it to the atmosphere as i have made a novice mistake and blocked that breather line.

Ok so here is the run down... So a month ago i attempted to install an oil catch can and i did successfully do everything correct by looking at stuff on this forum about it, You will see where im going in a second.... So in the morning after i installed it on idle when i started it massive clouds of gray/white/cream coloured smoke was coming out of the exhaust and i had to put it back to stock again as i did not want to cause any engine damage and i have done nothing with it again since... How ever today i have just done a BOV delete and blocked the vacuum line, line going to intake and al
