How do i remove the pin on the actuator arm to remove it from the wastegate? Do i just get a screwdriver and wiggle it off with some wd40? Thanks josh

Sorry mate but some of us on minimum wage dont just have £400-500 to spend on a racetech or a wepr manifold and are just doing what they can with the money they have...

Ill still check all the intercooler pipes tomorrow, Im sure its just because its spooling up faster and going high rpm due to the mani upgrade, I will be putting a JAM plug and play on in the next few days when it arrive should be fun stock ecu atm

Im 100% certain its turbo spool i was just wondering if its normal thats all just feel paranoid haha

So i have today just changed my stock manifold to a toyo sports manifold, I am still on the stock ct9 turbo however now when the turbo is spooling up above 2k rpm it starts to sound like an aeroplane engine with a very highpitch whistling sound? is this completely normal due to the fact more air is flowing through the turbo now? Let me know thanks josh (Just to mention as well i am running BOV delete and a meshed turbo untill i get my FMIC pipe rewelded to change the BOV position as i cannot fit one on at the moment.)

Yeah thats one of the main reason for the change! I will be updating my progress log a huge update to come not updated it in months will post my spec soon.

I wont be from tomorrow ill be running a toyo sports one, I know there not the best manis and not even close but thats my budget at the moment will be upgrading to wepr in a matter of months. Thanks josh

Is it worth the time porting the stock CT9 wastegate as i will getting an electronic boost controller soon and i want to prevent as much creep as possible, Please let me know your experience and opinions as i am changing my manifold tomorrow so i could do it at the same time while the turbo is off the mani. Will it go to manual 100%? I have been waiting for a jam ECU to pop up on here for a while! Any further infomation on this from anyone would be a great help

wow thats not good i better get saving, I need some more advise on turbo's to be honest as well Im not sure the route to go down and its stressing me out haha! If you could find them and let me know that would be great, i will have a look in the stuff for sale section and have a look

its not a decent manifold to say the least, Its just a toyo sports one as it is all i can afford as i have a crack forming in my current manifold and its needs changing before it gets worse, I would love a ramhorn manifold from wepr however no point spending loads as will probably go to a TD04 at the end of this year or next year. thats a bummer :/ , Would it not still be worth getting for a smoother boost curve and more power in the mid range as im not planning on getting an external wastegate unless next year i decide to go for a TD04 or i go CT9 hybrid and go external then? Thanks for the help!

Is that just due to the FCD and ecu issue as i dont have any yet? as i have all the other necessary supporting mods? thanks

Hi there guys so im thinking of getting a EBC I already have a HKS actuator on my car and will be fitting my new manifold this weekend. I just want to know your results of them to be honest and that kind of gains you have had, I dont have a FCD or an aftermarket ECU so wont be going over 0.8 bar so i dont hit fuel cut , however i want some nice power gains untill i get it mapped by TD this year when i get a ECU and tune. Let me know your experience's and also what controllers your using, Im thinking of getting a GReedy, GFB or a blitz controller. And if you selling one let me know haha Thanks josh
