how can mesh over the turbo be more flowing than a filter? a filter is bigger plus its attatched to an open pipe the same size as the compressor inlet. mesh is covering the inlet. so reducing the size of the inlet. granted on big hp cars they run mesh porb to stop stones rather than dust. if i'm wrong then i'm wrong and i apologise but to me my explanation above seems logical.

ct9 at a bar made 200? thought they were running 1.2 because of the whole at 1.2 will it be more heat n better at 1.1 etc back to the one legged man. td04 flies past

meshing = less area for air. plus i don't wanna run hardcoreunless i have to mate.

put my td04 kit on. wepr evo jobby with wg on the other side. sorry ktl for use of ya pic. well i can't get n air filter relo kit on. the red silicon is a 90 elbow but the ali pipe will have to be about inch wide to fit past screamer etc. also just noticed the top of ktls stainless pipe where his w/g bolts onto. its further away from the rad. mines not any ideas of where filter could go. was thinking behind fog in the inner plastic arch thing. where the horns situated. didn't wanna really fork out for a civic rad. wil lthis be the only answer? any help thanks. craig

i sturggled gettin 5mm on the wastegate port nipple. wasn't good quality silicon vacuum hose though. will see if 4mm fits n then order good stuff.

i used a circlip tool from halfords. was 7.99. external 90 degree circlip plier. had to bend the prongs a little to span the gap. plus lots of wd. it came out easy enough and went back in even easier with the tool. alot of peeps find it harder to get it in.

yeah. mine started in 3rd if i loaded it up with torque like 3rd at 2k n booted it. didn't do it in 1st 2nd. then 4th started slipping. 2nd slipped after that. take it easy n get a new one in.

ok thats cool. i was proper bummed aboutit not making more boost. watsgate is supposedly a .7/.8 spring. yeh it straight of compressor to ext w/g nipple. so mbc on to see if it makes more boost then get ebc? any recommendations. cheers guys

just thought i'd explain a bit more. foot down and seems to take ages to spool to .4. i know going from a hybrid to td series will be a bit laggy. so with it taking ages to spool, ext w'g opens a little but only heard a proper scream once. all the other time it opens a touch. flutters aswell so boost is being produced. boost leak or not? cheers

won't boost over .4 bar. turbos good. ext w/g's good. all mechanical side seems good. just want reassurance of it being a leak. anyone else has issues after swappin turbos over. cheers

ssr pro firenze. beleive they only came in white and gold. mine are white inside with black faces. plus there stamped ssr so i presume rota copied them lol

when you look from the front. with bonnet up. theres a grommet on the left bout same hight as inlet mani. mines through there. could draw on a pic if you put one up.

menna grind/file the pin off. not make a new hole for the pin to sit in. aslong as it works
