update! Fixed handbrake MOT is now passed

yeh its better to remove them and give them a clean up too really, they were rather dusty lol

i had the same problem with the handbrake, i had my drum apart today (im n/a) and just adjusted them, goin in for retest tomorrow so fingers crossed

yeh, got it done, its not as hard as it sounds, hardest bit is gettin the drum off because its so old and rusty lol

yeh u can but they need adjusting at the drum because its only not working on one side

can anybody point me in the right direction to adjusting my handbrake from the drums? cheers

no fitted them following the diagrams i had been given and it just kept blowing the fuse so gave up and in other news, had MOT this morning..... ...failed on handbrake not working properly

not everyone can afford to buy a turbo or even insure one, especially teenagers, hence why we buy n/a's. it isnt poitnless tuning them if thats what u want to do. i agree that there is very little to gain from them but its still worth doing the usual stuff to get to around 90hp. it is possible and to some people 90hp is fast as like i said we cant all afford high powered cars

it all depends on were u live and what the insurance companies think your area is like. the car its self is about insurance group 7 or something i think im 22 and payin just over £1300 because i live in darwen and thats got bad reputation. best way to find out is to just do a quote on confused.com sayin youve got a full license

ive found my old megane coupe strut brace that i had on the rear struts of my ep70 if your interested drop me pm

theres 2 ways, either bash the brackets with a hammer till they move and just push it back, or get longer bolts so it sits in front of the brace

the corolla saloon with the 4efe engine in did a 4 -2 -1 manifold and downpipe, as far as im aware thats pretty much it.
