  1. Ill be new on track too, and so will grant how ever hes done a few motorbike trackdays/motor cross ect, its not as scary as you think though tbh
  2. Some one please add turbo_grant to the list, i cant because my phone is cack. He will be gutted if hes not down. His gt is built for track
  3. Awesome i realy hope this is our answer as i neeeeed 4paw with front and rear diffs in my life haha
  4. Up dated your other thread with the link dude think thats what your after.
  5. http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index....showtopic=37675 Post 32
  6. Im going to point the finger at gaz, ted and weejohn as they seem to have more info on the transmition side. Bean: the cost will be no where near the costs of say two custom cusco diffs as they where looking to be 900+ iirc.
  7. Zoe, to answer your question, for and good set you need: Turbo (choose wich ever one you like) uprated manifold and decat (to suit your chosen turbo) Some form of boost control (manual or electronic) You may need: External waste gate (more stable boost control, stops creep. The mani/decat would need to support external wastegates) Bigger injectors (if you plan on a bigger turbo with more boost) Ecu/fueling control (piggy back/standalone/fuel pressure reg and fuel cut defender/plug and play) Fmic (id recomend one no matter what turbo you use tbh) Front mouted air filter kit Bigger bore exhuast (2.5" to 3" is most common size) This will increase your power that said always consider the other things you may need such as bigger/better brakes, better suspension, stiffening bars ect
  8. Bloody imenses explinastion thank you. So how would we make an awd system or is that just not posable? Or is it just fitting lsd's and thats as far as our drive train upgrading can go?
  9. Well the company envolved are hopefuly doing front and rear solutions
  10. Lol, well guessing you hav never driven an awd? Lsd's imprpve grip on any car, and given my 85 is headed for alot of track and over 300hp i personaly see a huge gain to be had.
  11. Meisters ftw!! Loved driving ollies v back to my place. Very very ni e! Waaay better than my teins where. And im defo going fo a set now tbh
  12. Unsure of any time scales tbh, this is in enzo's hands as he is the 4paw expert so i have just passed the info onto him and he will take it from there. We just need to give him some time as its not an lsd in the classic sense. Just hold on a tad longer till we get more info from the company envolved it will be worth the wait though!
  13. Sounds good And to those who say its too far me and turbo grant will be hiering low loaders to bring our cars on its around 90 quid and anyone over 21 can drive them so long as you hire the trasit style as you will not have a combined weight of over 3.5tones meaning a standard uk licence will allow you to drive one so taggy you have no excusie lol Can you add turbo_grant to the list please hou, im on my mobile so it dosnt work
  14. No, i want it for both track and road. Lsd's are a fantastic upgrade and provide more grip, they may be a 4wd but they arnt awd so an lsd will only improve the grip even more on road and track. I take it you have never driven a fast GT or V without an lsd then driven one with? The difference is huge!!
  15. lmao i posted a thread about these a while back! it is 110% imposable to get that much from a ct9!!
  16. A fucking men to that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and dont get me wrong I've ran a few different hybrid ct9's, td04 and a vf24 and all are great if you know how to stay on the boost through the bends
  17. lag will be the main difference and at 1.1bar the tdo4 will make around 210-220. as my above comment states if you where running a forged engine the tdo4 will far out way the benifit of the td04 but on an unforged engine the ct9 hybrid is king in my book
  18. a td04 is best used when running a forged engine otherwise the is no real benifit over the ct9 just simpley more lag as they will both produce around the same figures at 1-1.1bar. on a forged engine however the td04 is far better as at 1.4bar the power is faaaar greater than any c9 will give at 1.4. the td04 has become the must have mod purely because of how ceap a cheap manifold/decat and second hand td04 is when compared to a hybrid ct9 set up. but cheap isnt always the most benificial for the setup the car realy needs. for thoese who live around alot of motorways and duel carrigeways then a td04 and the lag it gives is no bother, if you live in the sticks and are surrounded by awsome twisty roads then a ct9 hybrid will be far more suited. think back a few years and it was all about the hybrids, now its all about the td04's and 5years from now it will all be about the flux capacitor. so long as the setup you run suits your needs then the power output is fairly errelivant tbh, after all your mate may runn 360hp on his big laggy turbo bt he wont beat your 200hp ct9hybrid of the lights and he wont beat you round the corners leading to the motorway but he will certianly catch you and spank you to bits by the time your both down the sliproad and onto the motorway...........................................who cares though because modding cars is fun no matter what setup or mods you run!!!
  19. its a custom unit bean, i cant realy explain how they work wich is why i sent enzo the info to sort it all out with them
  20. Why not just take her else where to be mapped? Is plenty of 4wd dyno's in the country dude.
  21. I would also like to know more tbh. Why cant i change the viscuse coupling to a solid shaft? What would be needed to do it? Or could it not be done atal? As an awd 4paw would be awesome!
  22. Been talking alot with turbo grant about ditching my coupling and running awd not too sure if it wud last long though. But if this has done it im sure it may work??? Any chance of some more info from this owner on the transmition, well infact on the whole car tbh!
  23. Fuck me! What a weapon. Hmmmmmm......................bank job anyone?
  24. I love uksc! I uswd to be more of a tgtt boy but these past couple of years uksc has just launched into a leauge of its own! Would never be anywhere else but this forum
