Lmao, well its enough to scrape the shit out of my pradas on the drivers side since my wider volks went on. and dont get me wrong im not saying the differences are huge was just saying theres a few little ones that i was a tad suprised by. and your short shifters may fit but tmy tc kit didnt without modding the nylon bushes for the ball ends on the shifter. nout big but was enough to stop it going on. with all due respects i think ill mod the rsr bar and fit it to realighn the rear. may not bother you but when my 300+ lump is in there id rather not have the arse twitching on the car, they are

No there is a runner oring seal that goes around the outer edegs of the oil pump. Your best bet is toyota mate. I will try and dig put the part number as i bought a new one when i gave my egine a 10k rebuild and check up. If you go to a toyota place it will show up on the epc system but be aware there are two types of oil pump, in block and external (like yours) be sure to get the correct seal as there is a mm or two difference in the two seals.

Ollie's 98 blitz powered K24 Cruise kitted Glanza
shorty replied to ollie ryan's topic in EP91 Glanza Progress Blogs
Jamie, they are indeed simlar to td04 in both size and the way it reacts. This should be a beast when shes boosting on the blitz Ollie, your mani is off to have the faces skimmed monday mate so as soon as the turbo turns up me and grant will check it over then fit the kit all back up, gun the timing in and tidy the vac lines up, then she should be good to go and you can have her back till your ready to do the next few bits we have discussed -
nazz i had exactly the same fitment issue and it was minor tbh, just got the dremmel out and shaved down the ps pump bracket a tad, was no biggy, also he has now sorted it any way as it turned out a small handful where made on the wrong jig, again though cant stress how simple the fixes where took an extra 10 mins and the mani was on. lew you cant go wrong with WEPR I've had a good few different mani's over the yaers yet always end up back with WEPR due to flawless quality! very strong and are the nuts tbh

one of you two in the RAF then? or is it an open thing?

niel pm socks with his address if you still have it or remember where it was. least he can go and ask for his money back then nothing worse than people who run off with your money tbh. doesnt take five mins to pm/txt some one to let them know the score! that said it was august so id say its more a case of scamming than lack of comunication.

lol i know its not to every ones taste, but imo the oil wich is circulating around my rather expensive forged engine should be as clean as possable at all times, and as my engine is far from oem specs im more than happy to spend £30 on a filter every oil change. i drive a van daily so the 3k miles takes around 3-6months to clock up
-
well im a snob and only the best will do lol so i use TRD ones at around £30 a throw and change the oil every 3k, but that said its an uprated filter system and also has a magnet in. an oil filter is just as important as any other aspect of an engine in my book so i like to have it filtered as best as i can

jam cams/ manifold and possible jam decat
shorty replied to pig666eon's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
I paid 650 for crusie cams a few years back, they where rgrinds of the oem cams done by cruise. They are likley to be the same with jam cams, if thats the case you will need to sell them with the pre shimmed head as the cruise ones do NOT shim up to standard toyota specs and where a night mare to work with!! So i would say 800+ for the complete head depending on the spec of the head. If its a jam engine id check the crank over as it maybe jam built but not all jam products, i know hrf made a stroker kit so i wohld check and see if thats the case with this and if it is pm me im desperate to g -
Just the little subtle ones like the gearstick having slightly smaller ball ends on, so when fitting the shortshifter kit i had to sand down the nylon cups a bit to make it fit right. The huge difference in size of the panhard rods. Just little things you think wouldnt be so different. Its not a big deal, just as me and mike said takes a little longer to mod the mods to fit lol. Tiny update, Got my powerflex engine bushes, a newer set of gt lights, takata harness and picking up my 9 point cusco cage friday also need to stick the gt seats from grants gt in at some point. Conversion to turbo power is a slow process though just cant seem to find the spare time atm. And still got loads needs customising to fit, as there seems to be alot of minor differences with the 4wd compaired to fwd.

phantom grip lsd solution for the 4paws
shorty replied to sdutton007's topic in 4WD Starlet Knowledge Base
Im going to point the finger at gaz, ted and weejohn as they seem to have more info on the transmition side. Bean: the cost will be no where near the costs of say two custom cusco diffs as they where looking to be 900+ iirc. -
Zoe, to answer your question, for and good set you need: Turbo (choose wich ever one you like) uprated manifold and decat (to suit your chosen turbo) Some form of boost control (manual or electronic) You may need: External waste gate (more stable boost control, stops creep. The mani/decat would need to support external wastegates) Bigger injectors (if you plan on a bigger turbo with more boost) Ecu/fueling control (piggy back/standalone/fuel pressure reg and fuel cut defender/plug and play) Fmic (id recomend one no matter what turbo you use tbh) Front mouted air filter kit Bigger bore exhuas
