  1. Post 133 form gaz's build thread "fitted a whiteline panhard rod which we had to cut down and tube the inside and re-weld with 95mm cut out of it" Looks like gaz did exactly what im about to do, only way is going to be a custom job mike
  2. You polybushed all the engine mounts dude??
  3. Whats happening with her now rich? She getting there yet?
  4. Get a new thread up tomorrow with some more info, maybe like a link to the map of the tracks your looking at? Im sure there will be loads of interest tbh
  5. I think we have slightly crossed wires mike, its the rear where the issues are, the front as all aligned but the rear is out. Im basicaly going to cut down the RS*R one i have and reweld the adjuster tops further down. Gaz prob altered the oem one or did the same and cut down an aftermarket one. The 4wd is all a bit new to me tbh but starlet tuning isnt so ill find away round it sum how and ill take plenty of photos and measurements for you to referance dude im going to have a reread of gaz's build too just to see if he did fab some thing up.
  6. Looks tidy mate whats the specs?
  7. Cheers lads he's got it off now i saw him the otherday and he said hes all good now.
  8. Awaiting paypal details for reverse scoop and total inc shipping dude
  9. Hell yea, im in! Any day is good, as above this is what holiday @ work is for!! Im sure turbo grant and forged v will be up for this too
  10. Miles too long, well bout 3-4" at least. Is just springs on oem shocks so you have no way to adjust anything other than the panhard rod
  11. didnt look ver well then? my ram mani is made by WEPR with equal length runners and externally gated? is the one in my old V build thread. he does a massive massive range of styles. and as above his kits are build like tanks!! seriously solid manis.
  12. Well, although its a live rear axle if you look at the way it works its basicaly the same ideanas that of a gt/glanza it has an oem panhard rod and now my ep85 zoom springs have setteled the car sits lower and its pushing the geometry of the rear out of line (only a few mm) this can be felt when heavy braking and seen by the fact the rear drivers wheel is now scrubbing the arch lip. The easy option is grind the arch lip off to stop scrubbing but that wont stop the feel of it being out of line. Im a big big believer that pan hard rods should always be used when the starlets are lowered as other wise you have a nice low stance and a car thet crabs under heavy braking! To fit one to an ep85 however is going to envolve alot of custom work to the rod, but hey ho it will go on when we are finished with it haha
  13. I actualy cant wait to see it fitted such a god damn nice v!!
  14. made a start ripping out the na, and started sizing up some bits like the RS*R panhard rod i kept back from the v as I've noticed now the zoom springs have setteled you can see the drivers side rear tyre has taken a ton of scrubbing on the way to and from jae. the RS*R rod though is just far to long to fit, so will measure up and have a chat with turbo grant as he loves a bit of cut and welding so will have to hack it up damn starlets haha
  15. be well up for it if the cars all sorted by then (cant see why it wont be)
  16. naaa you dont come across as a dick dude i knew what ya meant. @Raz: go to toyota if theres a td version then there will be a mini, oil housing and thermo housing too with some luck you will be able to order what you need, probs a sump too
  17. looks lush, im struggeling to imangine the finished car atm but I've got a feeling it will look mental! will be keeping a close eye on the coming progress. nice one dude
  18. as far as my friend said at the time, and he owns a motorsport garage so i trusted his info. every days a school day babe x
  19. lol alright split hairs why dont you, youknow what i meant. and thats what i was asking lol what the engine was, as its not an e series then yea would be a mani issue, but could have the oem one re fabricated to take it. if the 4e thermo housing wont fit then find another n series that is turbo'ed and try some trila and error on the housings.
  20. Avensis TD 00-03 2.0LD Avensis TD 97-01 2.0LD HI-ACE 1998 2.4L TD Hi-Ace 94- 2.4LD Hi-Ace 94- 2.4LD HI-LUX 1998 2.4L D PICNIC 1997 2.2LD Picnic 97-01 2.2LD an example of a few of the toyotas running ct9's alot of the range where deisel engins, but the point im making is theres loads of toyotas using the ct9. an old friend of mine was going to replace my ct9 with one of a deisel engine when i firts got into starlets, till we realised it wasnt the turbo and was a different issue. as trisk says it is not possable for the seals to be un replaceable. try cr turbo's i spoke to them a few years back when they where going to build me a ct9/t3 hybrid.
  21. gt parts wil fit, you will need: front and rear bumpers all side panels, the door moulds and skirts will need to have thier support mounting brackets fixed to the body work in order to fit them, also need gt lights (quad or square) and the mounting brackets as the ep80 lights sit waaaaay further back, gt bumper mounting bar gt bonnet and grill as the gt bonnet and whole front end tbh is further forward than the ep80 front. same work that is envolved as the ep85 to gt rep. pm me if you need any pointers on fitting the side trims, the rest was easy tbh.
  22. id run a braided oil line from the oil filter houseing (probs need a 4efte one, ad for water use a 4efte thermo housing so you can run the water lines off it, im not sure what engine the 1.5d is? is it a 5e or a different engine code? if its a version of a 5e then 4efte parts will fit anyway, as in oil filter housing, thermo housing and exhuast mani. chuck some more info on the engine up, block code ect and maybe can shed more light on how to feed the turbo. as far as oil return id get a 4efte sump remove the oil return spout and drill and tap/spot wed to the rear of you sump as its just a return theres nothing special about it so it doesnt mater where it sits on the sump tbh. as your only running small boost and no fmic maybe look at a ct12 off the desil toyotas, think its of the delicia.
  23. Lmao who told you that? Theres a fair few lads down this way with rebuilt ct9's and hybridised ct9's made and repaired by the bigger companies. Why would a bigger company offer all the different turbo service and repairs and then go leave out one of the toyota ct range?? Would be like doing all ihi subaru turbos but not the td04. Ricky may be able to do them but he isnt the only company buy a long shot. I've spoken to alot of turbo companies over the years and you would be suprised on the things they can offer on ct9's
  24. Or pm enzo, im sure he can supply seals if u needed. And any turbo place should be able to replace them, the likleyness of a turbo specialist like say turbotechnics not being ably to fix it is very very very slim!! Be a rubish turbo specialist otherwise.
  25. replied dude and dont worry lol when i broke my v my inbox was hectic for weeks! drives you a tad mad lol
