Ok so been a looong time since i found spare time as i finished work early and so did my mate ollie. We cleaned out the car from the shed it had become and got this in to see how it fits (cusco brace needs sprsying black and fitting once coilovers go on) next few days is strip the front down (return grants bumper bar to him) and get the rest of the lump out! Got the week off so will update with all the progress as it happens

Niether mine or grants are fitted yet so not sure. i know there basicaly no timing notch though will test fit one on one of our engines and post up.

Lol im gonna make history right now! I have never that i can remember agreed with streetracer_starlet as we seem to clash on our opinions. BUT.................my opinion is 100% in agreement! Alfa as a daily driver = fail lol i know sooooo many people who have looked at them on the drive waaaay more than they have driven them! Good luck with her phil, i admire your optimism my friend. personaly id sort her and move her on in favour of a desiel mondeo or an astra.

So was called into work today at 8am to over see the start of a job as the boss is on hols meaning i got feck all done to the car!! Gutted tbh. got home at 5pm n its dark and raining! fml!!

Lol at ollie didnt realise till you txt me ;) only a few more days dude. @russleh imgald some ones sees the point. im happy for thoese who havnt needed to alter anything but after 5+ years of modded starlets and over 10+ years of modded cars im fairly sure i can tell when its shifted. its not much granted but thats because the shocks and oem panhard bar are both shorter than oem gt or glanza parts so tge effect is far less noticable and i only realised when i fitted my rays two peice wheels as they are wider. ill load a pic of the near side shredded yoko if it makes people happier? Nice one dude glad its all coming together ;) may be worth havingva few pm's to turbo_grant about building a mega squirt ecu kit. im sure he will be happy to share some knowledge of it and then you get a custom standalone to do whatever you want it too without costing the earth. im sure with your i.t background assembling the ecu will be easy and grant will be able to advise on what ignition parts you will need to run it all the way you want. it comes with the software too so im sure ricky will find it a peice of cake to map ;) Car is a credit to your commitment though hun x
