as wallace said, list all the performance mods on the car, and the fcd should have been removed when the emanage was installed. is easier to tell you whats right or wrong when we know the full spec of the car
-
not sure tbh dude, either bung it in the shed or sell it for a small amount if some one wants it to repair its a bottom end knock and i drove about 60miles on it (slowley) so could be a bit messy down under.

not much to report due to working alot atm that said got tomorrow off so going to start ripping the bay to bits and ditch the na lump ect. then drop my forged lump in, also whent to see ollie @ JDmodified (who sold his silver v ) and collected his old exhuast system for a bargin so that will be hacked up and the center resinator box and back box will form the basis for the custom system gt loom is sat in a box waiting to go in, sooooo watch this space and with some luck engine will be swapped soon. also for those who may not have realised the "sleeper" look i aimed for is well and truley out the window! haha should be a savage weapon when shes finished and i know exactly what i want it to be like

can any 1 identify this wideband monitor and TRD electricial box thing
shorty replied to superspat's topic in Electronics
Id say first one is a wide band of some kind, wich ill buy off you and try and do somthing with if you fancy lol and i say second is a universal trd fcd hence the amount of wires. Both at a guess though tbh. -

id be well up to it if i wasnt working, and hadnt blown up my ep85!
-
ah right different size shoes too i guess then?
-
hmmm, i thought they where the same tbh, bump this up for one of the more experienced 4paw lads
-
Fook me "i am legend" your one to talk haha!! Thats not a shocking quote all things considered, and tbh looking at your thread title i expected an insane crazy quote! If its gonna be tight just dont drive an sr, and get a standard ep91 will prob be a saving as its not as of the sr is faster tbf.

Toyo's are shite tbh, wether it be r1 or r888 or proxie 4's! Yokohama are the best tyre out imo, the prada spec 2 is awesome on road and occasional track and the ao48 (is what taggy ment) is amazing on track or dry road but does wear quick, however they do a medium compound wich lasts a tad longer and is a tiny bit less grippy. The prada spec 2 has strong side walls and is standard on evo's and the ao48 has very storng side walls and is just grippy as hell!! This based on both my own experience with tyres and the fact two of my mates own tyre shops so i have tryed allsorts and have their experience and feed back from the likes of caterham and exige race series customers they both have who all use yoko tyres! Just my 2p

miesters are built to work better on the uk roads than the jdm coilovers mate. a coilover will always be beter on a track than a spring/shock combo. with any coilover all you would want to do is stffen it up on the damping adjuster to give a tighter feel and less flex/lean, exactly the same is acheaved from a jdm set its just when you go back to the road and soften the damping on a jdm set its normaly still break your back stiff lol miesters are just a better suited set to the uk roads as they where designed in the uk not in japan for japanese roads. sorry georgie went a tad off subject, cars looking awesome on track!!

fast on track and even faster on project builds love it dude, the progress is just nuts!
-
As above hadeling/brakes chasis mods ect should be on the list too. Im sure starbuck knows what to put on more or less
-
awseome build dude! coming on well. where did you buy the home flocking kit? been after one for ages
-
yea he mentioned that to me drop him a pm about discs for your kit, he will be able to sort them out. i normaly deal with brakes for people but as your having his lsd and he deals with our supplier it makes sense for him to do it on this ocation
-
yea man is always the discs with this set up that cuase the issue, the option is the d4d discs milled down to 260mm with an 8mm spacer or the disc we run. check out caazac's glanza build as he has my old ae111 kit and there is no spacers anywhere needed
-
The issue you have is all in the disc, its the wrong type and is going to cause you no end of headache!! You will need to space the caliper to clear the disc but then will posably find the caliper will foul the inside of the alloys you use at it will sit further out (if that makes sense? Fire turbo grant a pm as he and i both have run a different disc wich we have machined slightly wich is a bolt on solution, no spaceres ect needed. Just tell him shorty said he could help you out, and he will price some up
-
Is my bad tbh john, i was pitched else where and only stopped off at the stand a couple of times for a breif moment and allday on the saturday i had to leave for a wedding. But dont worry ill be at basicaly every show next year and the mountian goat will be on track at every opertunity
-
Yea man ill give ya a buzz and arrange when we are gonna get started ripping the old lump out ect its all waiting on the loom to turn up atm before we can get going
-
depends tbh does the donut sit behind the disc? if so yea id ditch it and try without, the centre ring of a hub is there to locate the alloy the disc dost have any where to go with 4 studs and an alloy holding it load some pics up too if you can as i can help easier if i can see what im looking at. me and turbo grant have played around with tons of combos for the twin pots
