But i dont realy drink or go out much, just spend on the car and hang with the gf at home or my mates while we work on one of our cars haha
  7. i wish i did just a bad addiction to my V like i say bud all depends what you want from you car, 220 is plenty in a starlet tbh
  8. got a random mcdonalds green dragon where the exhuast normaly exits the bumper and used to have a "nuts about cars" penut figure on the dash but he had to make way for guages because the piller pods did my nut lol

  10. yes fit it if you have a carbon top spoiler and carbon bonnet, if not, no lol
  11. sumwhere around £14k id say lol, my engine cost £5k when first built by special engine services for dale_b then I've added and improved the spec further so near £7k engine, fmic £250, manifold turbo kit ect was £450 now £700 as im going wepr and vf series, £000's on handaling/stopping/structure of the car with cage and struts etc around £800 on fuling/ignition etc depends how much power you want realy, if you want loads then it can alter the cost of a whole project, adds up so quick over 4/5 years
  12. im 840 fully comp with sky, they do price match most quotes if you speak to them and offer discount for forum members, also you defo need to ring round jap car specialists if its import, internet is useless tbf
  13. has massive pipes and a random side exit in front of rear arch?? screamer maybe? maybe geo is right?
  14. love the jdm lenses look, nice to see something different, what your missing is a 96 front lip, bonnet will look 100,000000000000000% better, and then decked on some lush black rims chin up dude takes time. there's no rush
  15. haha one of pet hates!! that and full quotes of a massive post of a sales item to ask if one thing is still for sale!!
  16. i use aro catches, fitted them myself too. they come with a card template shows all the fixing holes etc is easy to fit, just use a dremmel. worst part is cutting holes in your new bonnet but looks sweet when there fitted takes 2-3hours tops (inc the sweating and crapping yourself for 30mins before you cut the first hole lol)
  17. sounds like a laugh when we thinking though? need to try and head towars end of march if we want better weather to stop people pulling out realy
  18. make it for around beginning of march and i should be back on the road always seem to miss the local meets
  19. cheers grant, i cant be arsed to lay on the floor and do the clutch so ill still bring her to you when shes going again and i actually should finish early this week at some point so i can pop in with the pads. be good to catch up on things.
  20. rain has stopped play its all just fest prep we arnt in a rush anymore. we need to start your soon you paid for your fest shootout session yet?
  21. made a small start over the last day or so, my mate fitted antilift kit and poly wishbone mount and while he was down there the lsd gearbox bush we also stripped the fmic and pipes off to powdercoat, ditched a few unsed aircon bits and moved the coilpack to the other side of its bracket to give the fmic pipes a better route, oh and we fitted the roose motor sport hoses, stripped the oil pump and sump to find the small oil leak and have started fitting up the ae111 tiwn pot kit just wiating on the wepr gear and some new gaskets so we can start fitting the turbo kit back on.
  22. Fair do's bud, id recomend dave over anyone tbh, his delivery time is seconed to none
  23. Love it sparkster got most torque settings from when I built my engine so if you need any at any point drop me a pm, love building engines, nothing better than knowing your build inside out!!
  24. Wish i could help bud but shell codes are a bit more than i know of the top of my head, id advise using a micrometer to measure the thickness and check what the oem thickness is for each code, so you can identifey the worn shells, talk to dave at tm too, he will be more than happy to advise you on whats right or not with the sizing and codes. Dave knows his shit with starlet engine building
  25. Welcome along bud, and thats good going. These cars are so easy to work on, cant go wrong with a starlet!!
