JHAM EP82, Black n Red hybrid monster project
shorty replied to jham's topic in EP80/EP82 Progress Blogs
dont see why it wouldnt work, dude dont take the gt to f1 EVER again lol theres pro tyre in chandlersford or turbo_grant works in the garage behind the texico on botley rd (b3354 up past burgerking etc) is looking damn good, mine will be up and running again soon will have to meet up and say hey -
Rotatae the td04 upward like a ct9 and buy a samco to fit. Tbh if you have a jam ecu and an arc id go for a decent mani decat combo at a hybrid, 1-1.3bar it will be 220ish same as td04 but more torque and less lag
-
The hoses fit straight over the civic rad anyway bud, I use an asi racing dual core ally one (from asi in aus not the cheap ebay ones from china) but again depends on your mani if you realy need it to get you going.
-
Na normal hoses will fit fine mate, worst case trim em a tad, but for a basic get ya gin conversion, depending on what mani you get you may not need a civic rad dude.
-
How long at what boost? I run wepr now as out of all the mani's I've used wepr where th best quality so I've gone back to them.
-
Lol yea it was asked by taggy for example a few months ago! (Hypocrit ) Yes stock injectors and pump will be ok, just run the car on an rr to make sure the jam is defo fueling ok, the plug and play arnt all there cracked up to be despite what the huge following of plug and play lover belive. Oh and dave at tm developments for the oil and water lines dude
-
I had a speedvision one, wich the toyo is based on, speedvision was a good budget kit tbh, but from a reputable trader not a cheap arse ebay cowboy!!
-
Boys no offence but what do all you lads newer to starlets expect? You buy a cheaper rep of a rare performace part, 9.5 times out of 10 its gonna be shit. I sold my blitz decat years ago for £200 odd. Even just looking at the pics that decat is too slim and not as free flowing, it looks very poor if you look at a pic of the blitz to compare it. That's why the rare parts are pricey, because you don't get hassles you get quality.
-
Get a WEPR one,can be found over on toyotagtturbo.com pm sacha from WEPR he does mild steel and stainless, best quality mani's by far and years of experience in starlets.
-
Looks amazing with the full origonal livesports kit! Damn clean looking car mate, any engine mods come on it?
-
Looking damn good dude also as a side note ct9 based turbos don't have locating pins on the compressor housing just the fook off huge circlip, rotating the housing it a piece of cake, remove circlip, lift off housing rotate and replace clip, done I know you sorted it now anyway but just for reference if you ever have an issue again
-
get her going again dude, im iching to see her finished. also if you end up braking her im gonna drive up there and slap you! shes a damn tidy V and the hassle you went through to get her!!
-
fairly certian its in ireland tbh, theres pics of it on tgtt next to a glanza, cant for the life of me remeber the user name, its not his its his mates iirc hope that helps some more
-
looks clean, standard valves or oversized dude?
-
Toyota do sell the rear high level clear light however is aroun 120 iirc and its a 97 spec so the front bumper is right but the rear lights have been changed at some point for late spec ones. Is a standard spec 97 v dude with the ac climate control option, hence why I'm guessing you have sliders for the heating not the twisty nob things. Either who, is lush and black v's are by far the best, fact! (Not that I'm biast lol)

Iamlegend's TDO4 White Glanza V 1999

Oem ftmfw!!!! Will look lush dude, also bang that jam on and get down the rr for a fueling check, takes a while for them to adjust so by the time you at the rr it should be set so you can run a wideband on it, tbh should be ok at 1-1.2 bar id of thought dude -
good to see you back dude, and yes thtas shite! take it to an old school tuner, someone who works on old minis and escort mk1/2 etc and they will sort the carb out, it may need a different needle and spring (can get sports ones by the way) and they should be able to sort it for you dude think i payed around 60quid back in the day when i had a tuned mini
-
cheers si shes getting there, realy not long now
-
Cheers bud is not long now, just gutted the ogura clutch has to be hidden in the gear box, is the sexiest looking part lol, would look lush in the bay.
-
Damn good work dude, love it!!!! Is going to be a photo finish me thinks just gotta bang the turbo kit back on, fmic, and timing belt. Oh and mod the ae111 twins to fit. Soooo looking forward to seeing what yours makes on the dyno!!
-
Is another micra behind the red one, can't remember the modle but recognise it from the bumper. The red one is defo not the turbo version, is prob a rev counter not boost guage, common addition to jdm low spec na's
-

-
