  1. not trying to start a row or go off topic, but joz i dont think being a staff member makes you any more special in this sort of situation, staff and members alike deserve to be protected against bad sellers. maybe a simlar system to ebay with a sellers star rating under the location member number etc where you can click and see instant feed back scores for the seller??
  2. dont fit it get one fitted by an approved fitter and any alarm thats thatcham approved is fine (prices arround £250+) if its not done by an approved fitter ie you fit it your self then its no good from an insurance point, athatcham system fitted by an approved fitter will have a certification certificate, this is what insurance look for to give you a better lower premium. good alarms are any toad or clifford systems, toad ai606 and clifford concept g5 are two of the most common.

  12. I run speedvision cams dude and tbh it depends what you want from the car, when they kick in they are awsome but off boost the car is lazy and before 3.5-4k they make no major difference. That spec is for higher rpm, so if your gonna run 1bar or less dont bother tbh, saying that they will give alot more pull when you get up the revs, wich is where the td04 pulls well anyway so in conclusion its completly your choice, only you know what you want from the car driving wise.
  13. Spam away boys as i said all info helps on these setups. @ Ed you realy see a huge difference between the two n four pots? @ john im sure they are machined to 260 from 276 or somthing like that but 260 is the max that clears without an adaptor to float the caliper further away from the disc @ dan yes astra discs do fit, they dont need a spacer but do need the center boar made bigger, they are a 53mm centre mk1 gt's are 54 and later gt's and v's are 55 so that needs machining that said my mate who uses them runs st165 twin pots not ae111 and i think the carrier is slightly different giving a
