WEPR is great gear bud, waiting on my new mani from them to turn up atm and ran a ct9 set up of their's in the past too, second to none tbh and I've had a few different brands in my time lol
-
Gonna stick up for legend here, the fact he drives auto is errelivant, he stated when odering its auto what more could he do, he is in the hands of the trader if they ok the fit your not going to question them. Tbh mate i feel you pain theres nothing worse than having a simple job fucked over by somthing out of your hands! If a kit is said to fit it should fit! Take it to an exhust specialist they will flip it round in ten mins cost fook all im sure its only mild steel is easy to chop and weld
-
If the oil leak is bad you may want to consider a new clutch when you do the box and also clean the fly realy well, as oil will contaminate the friction pads on the cluch disc and effect the disc. just make sure you check it all over well. Thats only if it doesnt turn out to be the sump as that may well cure your issue anyhow
-
Just support tge weight of the engine and drop of the mounts and change em one at a time, they are fairly easy to swap tbh, and id start with the sump too, taking the fly off for the crank seal will be the hardest part! We had to use an airgun on the bolts as they ar tourqed up high and locktighted when installed so are a biach to get out

Lol im only teasing him anyway mate, im in no rush for it, im only using it for a sticker board in the bay lol got loads of stickers n no where to stick em so thought cooling panel would be a good spot.

Come on birdman, first on the list last to pay haha.
-
Lol @ steve thats how i used to change mine all the time, comes off easy now same as mickey change mine every 3k though. Need to use a flathead screwdriver n knock a groove in the silver ring closest to the oil filter housing like with a rounded nut
-
no its not liam, has the same alloys that i did have on mine a year back but my baby is still parked outside also saw this at fest though and had a good chat with the lad who tracked it, guess he thrashed it few to many times if he killed the bottom end
-
yea baby! nothing better than building your own engine

not checked out your build before, looks awesome but the comment on using speedvision springs worries me a bit. has been alot of buggered engines from thoese springs dude, his cams are ok but thoese springs are bad, i recomend cruise springs if you wnat uprated springs. sorry for the negative comment, just dont want to see your effort go to waste. -

the joys of starlets lol, dont worry dude you gotta expect some teething problems for the first 6 months after such a big rebuild tbh i like the sound of oem kit and gi bonnet will look very clean! -
no probs bud.

Paid should show from tom fullwood bud.
-
Add me too please bud, pm me when you want payment also if possable can i have mine without the cutout for the bonnet catch please?
-
If you dont have a forged engine i honestly wouldnt run the td05 mate, td04 would be a far better option as the td05 needs a fair bit of boost to make it worth running. Just a heads up before you go to the hassle of fitting it.

-
shame its not the cupra R they are silly quick
-
cant hurt to ask bud, new engine (well low milage second hand) will be around 400-600

reason most say number three is because the oem mani has a restriction in the third runner and if you up the boost it normaly kills number three due to the pressure increase, you have an aftermarket mani however so it more bad luck than anything id say
