my forge is 10k old was always noisy, just rebuilt her and added some more goodies, still tappy. nature of the beast boys. if its alot from the top try tensioning the cam gear is a simple job but not for the unconfident as you have to drop the timing belt and whip ot the cams, again no biggy just makes noise it cant cause damage. piston slap is very normal for forged engines too but sounds more desiel engine than slappy. post a vid of it running makes it easier to help you out

ct12 will not see as many gains as a hybrid tbh, there is a bit more topend compared to ct9 but no where near the power and torque of a hybrid ct9, dont waste the money tbh bud buy a tongs instead they pull like a train top end!!! loved mine when had one.

DO NOT FIT the springs if they are speedvision ones mate! speedvision cams are fine but with cruise springs, speedvision springs cause a world of shit due to base pressure being to high causing premature wear on the cam lobs as well as other issues

i ran a ct20/ct9 hybrid on my v couple of years back, it was good and spooled and pulled well very simlar to the gt spec tongs i replaced it with, id say on a good set up it would see the same as a tongs no more no less tbh

Ok well, just bought a vf24, roose hoses, got my disks for my ae111 brakes now, and some very very rare wheels that i love and had on my first v but you will have to wait for the refurb before you see them also she is up and running and has 600 miles on her from rebuild and im no fag so these hav been a mix of slow break in and now im at the boostin to .5bar stage and all seems well, need external set up then on with the vf and finaly a 1.4bar map on the dastek!! Ill clean her and upload some pics tomorrow.

Tbh Toyo tyres are shite!! Not alot of grip in the corners and r888 are cheap common track tyres. Yokohama every time!! Prada spec 2's are fantastick all round tyres and the a048 is a far far better track tyre than r888! Hence why evos come with prada spec 2 from the factory. And wet weather is perelli p-zero nero witch is lovley in the wet but wears quick in the dry however. Just my 2p worth.

Its got tonts in the second pics and is black, first pic np tints and midnight purple lmao! Be careful when importing privatly boys n girls, i use a very reputable guy who will look cars over first and take actual pics for me first, dont belive everything the japs email you

just to give you some more info phil, pcso's (police comunity support officer) are basicaly like a teachers pet, they get paid around 18k to walk around and be the eyes and ears for coppers but have no power for arrest or law enforcment, they can take statements and can guard police areas and also the above section 59 but thats as much power as they get realy. tbh is a waste of tax money!! and most are just wanabe coppers on a powertrip because they get a simlar uniform!

well after contacting powerflex about the lack of the lsd bush, i sent a mount and ta da http://www.powerflex.co.uk/product-details...odels/1816.html im now in talks with them about uprated bushes for the oem front arb, they also said that they where in talks with toytuning (before it went wrong) about rear bushes for the arse end of the car, so anyone who can think of bushes the would like to see made drop me a pm and ill see what i can do, as i have made a very handy contact for us ep lovers now Shorty

Thats just it there is no middle ground with oem as the calipers are so poor its either lifespan and tons of fade or tons of grip and no lifespan, hence why good pads cost so much, but dont last.

Mintex 1144 are the best fast road pad but life of pad is short and dust is extreme but they allways stop well. Ultimatly the oem brake setup is shite simples

Have to agree with scotish and whitetrash, i can do anything with alot of power but to much weight and even with lsd the launch is a tad tricky but 2nd gear on and most cars are done and finished with, and corners and bends arnt an issue either love how fast my v can corner
