  2. pm'd couple of days ago. no reply as yet. are we to expect refunds on the rails does anyone know? or are we going to be proved they work? as id like a refund but we paid like sept/oct last year for these
  3. massivly disagree with you promoting insurance fruad! the car is essentialy uninsured if you have it down as a gl. people like you are why we pay so much!!!
  4. Yea good shout dude, sort it asap as you dont want too much play in the housing as if it conects with the blades your gonna eat the blades.
  5. Imagine the convosation R35 owner "do you have any mods for an r35?" RHD rep "we have some carbon backed seats that are 6kg lighter and only 8k each" R35 owner "What?? 16k for the pair? 12kg of weight saved?? It will do exactly what the oem seats do?? Fuck it ill take em"
  6. Defo leaking from housing id say. Mate it should be bloody tight tbh i used to struggle to move mine with no compressor locating pin and a rotated housing. Air escapes easy under preasure so if its that lose id say thats where your losing it.
  7. IF and its a big if they where fake it would be a fualt with supplier not retailer. also TD are very spot on lads and tbh if it is a fueling issueit could occur at any time wether it be on a dyno or a road, the day its mapped or 278days later fualts are fualts if you knew it was due it wouldnt occur lol. it sucks arse that this has happened but nodoubt the cuase will be found soon enough. chin up taggy man. the boxey can not be done with yet, shes still got some slaying to do on track.
  8. didnt have any bump stomps on my levin after we decked her never had an issue. she wasnt realy capable oh high spped bumps mind as she was on her arse lol. as above trim them down a little or look for smaller polyurathane stops bud.
  9. easy win mate kp60 rwd starlet best of both lol
  10. im on my 3rd, the second its gone you start looking lol just a question of how long you hold the craving off for. more addictive than crack!!!
  11. it is indeed your old bumper, lips in the shed, its probs goin back on tbh as somthing is missing from the front but thought it didnt look right at first. tbh im not happy with the front of the car yet i cant put my finger on it but its not quite what I've pictured.
  12. reminds me of when MAX POWER first hit the mag racks, prooer old skool 90's uk street look. if i had the space id buy it. would be perfect as it is but sprayed kawasaki green or maybe bright pink, and needs chrome wheels. glws mate, alot of potential for some one. could go so many directions with an r5 tbh.
  13. an after market one i assume you mean as id say it doesnt look anything like my ae101 did.
  14. cheers bud appreciate the offer, but mr moss was going to provide a set but tbh they dont quite tickle my balls as much as the jdm/uk na rears. think thats and the ep85 S rear spoiler looks smart and a bit different.
  15. Savage car but i cant help thinkin it realy needs a mental engine rather than the norm of a 4e/5e. Still an amazing motor mind dude.
  16. First thought was also thieves, and even by postcodes is a bad idea as they narrow an area alot too, as above there is a location under the avatar, thats plenty imo. Even a post limit means nothing, the wrong sort of person would happily spend a yr or whatever raising posts and watching builds progress knowing they get a treasure map after x amount of posts. Soz dude, nice concept but not a goer imo.
  17. Cheers mate, and yea vf are good turbos just very expensive given there age, if i kill the turbo at anypoint im going to have gt flanges welded to the mani tbh as theres a much bigger variaty of gt turbos.
  18. I've had mine outside about a year and a half now and can count on my hands the days of no rain where i managed to actualy work on it, it sucks doesnt it tbh. One of my other bros has lent me his garage for a while. They are the ep8* rears and came form japland on the car but my lil bro (deebo) has same ones on his ep80 as the uk ep80 na seemed to have a random added rear fog just plonked next to the number plate on the boot, so as far as i know they are the same in both uk andjdm early ep8* cars. The rear garnish though is a jdm thing and tbh i love the arse of my car lol. Forgot to add above I've also bought starbo morleys vf30 as im going to rip my vf24 apart and make a ballbearing vf30 from the two should create a faster spooling vf30 basicaly so lots of spool and more mid and top end than the 24 could give.
  19. Cheers mate, its a very slow process but should be good when its finaly finished,,,,,i hope lol Side note, The starlets finaly in a nice dry space!!!! Can now crack on without fear of the weather.
  20. Id just like to reply to james's comment at me. The cam gear i was first sent fouled on both the block mouldings and on the cam end cap. I was sent a new gear that had been bunged on a lathe and had the back milled down, however the screws had not been cut back and had the bottom esentualy notched in half from lathing meaning it still cought the second you adjusted the timig using the gear. It also hadnt been milled enough to clear the inisal clearence issue, i then set about it with a dremel to remove the offending metal and sop it caching, once it finaly would rotate on the engine me and grant noticed the insanely close gap between head and cam gear which was a new issue. The final result is both mine and grants cam gears sit on a desk in the workshop to hold down paper. I didnt contiue to pursue the issue as i would not of been happy with any new attempt to machine an already poorly machined part, id lost confidence in what could potentaily eavt my engine if it failed under hard driving. As for the fuel rails theres no reason they should of been sent out with swarf in the rails realy which has been un explaind too, clearly the engineers wernt as fussed about the use of the product as they should have been thourly cleaned through.
  21. Looks smart mate, you havnt hung about since i saw it last.
  22. honestly lads, i see this fairly regular and the pics realy dont do it justice!! its epic! gonna b am utter legend of a car well till it hits boost and tourqe steers into a bush haha ;)
  23. the documentary movie they made was realy good too. well worth a watch. the guy was a legend of a driver!
  24. given the climate and what they sell for these days id say around 3500 mark and depends how good a mate as to what ya lwt it go to him for tbh.
