yeah I noticed they do flop down a bit and I was gunna make a bracket up before i got her back on the road but it split before i even got to drive her i should have just put a cable tie around the filter to support it like you said tho, untill i made the bracket lol Thanks for the help tho mate, cant wait to get the car back on the road now
-
Complete rubbish tbh, I had to wait over 3 weeks for my kit! and when i finally got it, it didnt look too bad, but ive fitted it on my car and i havent even drove the car yet and the crappy filter has split around the neck already! I didnt even do the jubilee clip up that tight, very dissapointed in the product and service and was a waste of 100 quid

Yeah as galliano said, get the three step stuff or better still if you dont feel like hard work get a body shop to refinish the paint to remove the fading, will look like new when done and is allot cheaper than a full respray

Well ive finally fitted my HDI intercooler and man it looks fooking amazing, then i tried the bumper up against the car (96spec) and my grin fell from my face....... fast. I realised how much the bumper needed to be cut So i cut.......... and cut..............and cut.........and a bit more Aint got much of the bumper left now and it still doesnt fit! so ive given up and im on the look out for a 98 spec bumper ive been toying with the idea of fitting one of these instead and well i think this i a good excuse lol So heres my question, has anyone got a 98spec bumper with the hdi intercooler

Yeah i hope so, getting a bit tired of waiting for it now, in the email i recieved they said they have been waiting for the 90 degree silicone bends for 3 weeks! -
Goin to fit my HDI intercooler soon and i had a quick look under the car to see where the bottom mounts bolt and i cant see any holes with a 8mm thread in them? i thought it used either the bumper or splash guard mounting holes but they are 6mm thread?? anyone know where i should bolt them? cheers starlybruiser

I did........... viagra
-
I got one of these, they are bloomin good too Right the easiest way to do this is to just replace the old one with this one by removing the 2x bolts and so on, then run a pipe from the actuator direcetly to the turbo housing, this eliminates the HI-LO feature but hey who wants tha anyway As for adjusting it, what i done was adjust it so its the same length as the standard one then take it for a spin and see what its boosting, then you either wind it out to reduce boost and in to increase it, usually 0.1 of a bar per turn i think, cant remember, also you will find that you will have to pull

HAHA thats a quality looking starlet mate, cant believe what you paid for it!! hope fitting the shocks I sold you goes well bud you had a gud buy with them lol but ditch the tow bar, side strips and stickers, would look ten times better then bud ;) Cheers, Starlybrusier .
