Who you insured with man? when my starlet was written off they gave me the settlement and i got the car which was still road legal. just stating that if the worst comes to be and they do that then at least your not totally fudged, and (even though it ain't ideal, or good at all) you just gotta cough the difference. but the more i look at this the more i really feel bad for you, its a beauty of a car and a shame that this happened cause some people got a chip on both sides of they neck and got no respect for other peoples stuff. But i know what some people mean, to the scum over here its hard as concrete if you steal a wheel trim, but over there you ain hard without committing GBH

ah right... better watch out then, i heard that the insurance is declared void if they reckon a named driver is using it more than the main. dunno how they would find that out, but i know someone it happened to

i thought scotland was meant to be cold in comparison to england... but dunfermline seems to disobey that rule. a couple years back i seen a map in the press and everywhere around dunfermline was covered in snow... but not here. it just rained... then rained some more... then rained again.

haha but on a serious note. how the hell's you get insurance on a turbo at 17. i've looked... im 18, 18months experience, pass plus, drive another car regularly and nobody would touch me with a turbo. Is yours insured as a sportif or something cause i have no idea how without paying a million pounds you could insure a turbo people feel free to prove me wrong

Thats insane. I'd love something with that much power... but since im 18 im stuck with 1.6 and a 100bhp

more power, bigger car and reasonable insurance. (according to the insurance company i only have 7 months on my licence)

Handles better, but doesn't pull from stop as hard, once its up at around 3k is pulls real hard. good kit out as well, a/c, electric windows, electric mirrors etc. the one i got only has 25k on the clock. its practically mint. only problem i have found so far is that the fan only works at max setting... still gonna miss the starlet though

1.00pm this afternoon i drove my starlet for the last time ;) . it is no longer insured to be driven. I travelled all the way to newcastle to pick up my 98 almera. hope i'm still welcome to contribute here or am i exiled for no longer being a starlet owner?

And it really has no mods? Nothing at all?
