Battery? My mate had a similar problem with his fiesta a few weeks ago. just kept clicking. jump started it and it worked fine after. That would explain the weak spark. Give it a try, no harm. If you already tried this then thats the extent of my technical knowledge in this situation

just and update, insurance sent there independant engineer out today. looked at it... clocked the milage, took some photo's and said "it's a pity" think me must of liked my starlet. Also... i highly recommend turtle wax metallic polish, absolutely superb finish.

I'm intrigued... An N/A version of the glanza with more power that a standard sportif etc. I like the sound of this... May be a consideration point for myself

This may be obvious, and sound stupid but are you sure they are not just riveted onto the bracket? try lifting them off the screen, turning them so they are parallel to the bonnet and push down. thats how mine were. took me a while to figure it out...

That was the thought... but nobody in my family or close friends has a towbar on there car.

sorry ste my response wasn't meant to be sarcastic of anything. i live about 5 miles from knockhill. unfortunately knockhill's in the middle of nowhere, so unless there is lockups on the site (which if there is will be at a premium) then that option may be difficult. I'll look into it though cheers.
