A Swift GT would hardly "blitz" an N/A Starlet, it's a couple of seconds faster standard vs standard though.
-
noticed any improvements at all?
-
It wouldn't make sense for the little Starlet to weigh that much anyway I mean look at the Sportif, it is the bare basic minimum of a car. No electric windows, no central locking, no aircon, just one airbag. The only controls you get are the ones you need for driving, there's no fancy gadgets or anything like that.
-
I think those would look great on a black or silver Starlet. By the looks of it you might need some slight change in the bonnet?
-
take a bucket of paint and a hammer to your car, then watch them copy that
-
A cheaper alternative is the NGK ones, you can get them on ebay for £39 including P&P.
-
Well, one thing's for sure - they're definately fast enough for a first car and to be able to thrash Corsas/Puntos/Fiestas/etc... with minimal mods (corolla mani for example).

According to Parker's the UK EP91 N/A weighs 830kg.
-
he did have but it was sold before he posted the topic I think

Mitsubishi FTO; also known as the wannabe Supra.
-
aslong as it doesn't rust but bloody hell they're expensive !
-
does anyone know how much these cost, how hard they are to find, and the specs of them? (how big/loud they are and if there any noticible increase in power)

N/A Starlet and Glanza have different Rotor Arms?
ste91 replied to ste91's topic in Ignition & Fueling
erm I think this is meant to be in the Ignition & Fueling section, I'm sure I posted it there I dunno what it's doing in here -
http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/bb176/c...08/P1000406.jpg haha it's marlow's civic I've spoke to him a bit on msn - funny to see his car here, I'm sure I've seen pictures of his car and someone's glanza together, is it someone from here?

I bought a new rotor arm along with all the other parts for a service next month, and today I had a quick look to check everything was right, I took the dizzy cap off the car and the rotor arm is completely different. This is what I bought: http://www.importcarparts.co.uk/parts_info.asp?id=657 Thinking it would fit the N/A... but it doesn't.
-
They came today and yes they do fit. Whatever you do don't go sticking your nose in the box and having a good wiff - I was expecting a nice plasticy smell but it was the worst smell in the world.

What should I do? Put new wheels on now or wait?
ste91 replied to ste91's topic in Lifestyle General
Well as I said I'm not actually 17 yet so I'm not driving on the roads ;) I think I will keep the steelies on for now and put them on a week or so before I'm 17. -

What should I do? Put new wheels on now or wait?

That's what I was thinking, it would make me learn quicker. But it's not really parking I'm bothered about, reversing round corners is the one that's most likely to catch me out. -

I think I'll put them on then, just watch me throw a wobbly when I scratch them ;) -
edited so it's not so much of an essay I'm 17 next month and my dads been taking me out recently just driving on carparks and industrial estates so I can learn a bit quicker and hopefully pass quicker. Anyway, I've got my new wheels (thanks Chris (Monkey)) but I don't know wether to put them on the car or wait 'til next month. I still have the standard steelies on there at the moment with hardly any tread left on the tyres. The wheels are taking up space in my room but that doesn't really bother me. So to cut the essay short: Put the wheels on now, which would save space in my room, the c

shit that's a big dent I was expecting something small that you could easily fix that looks like someones smacked it with a big hammer or something
-
twats... were they just being impatient trying to get past? you should of got their reg and reported them, that's pretty dangerous what they did
-
Why would they ruin a Supra like that ;) Supras look good standard

The NSX is nice but I don't really like what they're doing with new cars these days. Cars don't look like cars anymore. More like spaceships.
